STK is loud and has a party atmosphere. I’d say it’s better suited for a group birthday dinner before going out to celebrate.

I would say Milos or Scarpetta would be best for a Cosmo anniversary dinner.

We’re going to see opium at 10pm and we like to gamble there. But no it doesn’t have to be there.

Next door, Prime at Bellagio has a much more romantic atmosphere.

If it doesn’t have to be Cosmo, I would highly recommend you jump next door to Bellagio. Prime is great and romantic, as @VegasBJ said. Picasso is perhaps even more “special” and romantic because it’s quieter and has millions of dollars of original Picasso artwork on the walls. It’s like dining in a museum. Combined with the fountain views, I’d say that’s my top rec for an anniversary dinner

Prime at Bellagio if you want steak and a fantastic view. Le Cirque has multiple prix fixe options from $108-350pp + wine pairing. Milos has a great lunch special if you're looking to give it a try.

Scarpetta has a lovely fountain view, intimate atmosphere, and can be less pricey than a steakhouse. That's got my vote!

If you're looking for romantic and want to stay at Cosmo, I'll second the Scarpetta and Milos suggestions.

If you're looking for romantic and steak, I'll second the suggestions of heading next door to Prime. (If it doesn't have to be steak, Picasso would be my choice.)

If you want more of a party vibe, then STK is probably the best bet.

We are still early 30s and celebrating 8 years. I have always wanted to try stk and even tho it may be a little more of a party vibe I think we may stick with the reservation. I have heard the 14oz bone in filet is amazing.

Then that’s exactly what you should do! Happy anniversary. Any of the restaurants mentioned will be a treat!

STK is great- it does have a fun vibe, and great food. A good choice. My wife and I will be there in a few weeks for our 5th year and we are doing Prime- love the fountain views and there is a STK here in Chicago.

Cosmo is one of our home bases and they have some great restaurants. STK is an excellent choice. It has a great fun atmosphere. The food and service are top-notch. Another place that we really love but doesn't get much credit is the Blue Ribbon. The fresh seafood there is amazing and their menu features something for everyone.
