I received a comp offer through MLife that I booked through a host; 450 FP and 400 RC.

Would it be a possibility to convert some or all of the RC to freeplay and have $850 total?
Not sure how the corporate offers work or if they allow it. I was going to run it by my host but thought I'd try the expertise of this board first.

Good luck. I have asked our host a few times to make it all freeplay, but no luck.

I doubt it, unless you made a typo. You need 40,000 RC for $400. If you are converting to FP even more based on your tier level.

I've asked in the past to have resort credit reduced and freeplay increased. I've always been told no. If you are successful with this be sure to let us know.

Not positive, but I think you are talking "reward credits" whereas the OP was talking "resort credit"...

Thanks for the input so far.
I sent an e-mail to my host and received a quick reply.

"Comp offers include both Freeplay and Resort Credit so the MLife member can have the opportunity to experience the fun of the casino and enjoy the great dining options, as well as beverage and entertainment throughout the MGM International properties."

I guess the freeplay is great and all, but they want you to use the RC to talk about the dining and entertainment with others to promote the restaurant or show that you went to. Makes sense to me now. Word-of-mouth advertising is a powerful tool.
