I'm sure this has been asked, but I can't remember where -- Were you able to use the drink vouchers at Old Homestead?

Cruise Time! It's not Vegas but a casino will be involved!
3 Nights at Cosmo, then Bally's to burn my comps, probably!

No - I checked because I thought that would have been a great meal add-on. There was a time when you could, back when it was a hand written list every day, but since they standardized the vouchers and redemption locations, it's been nixed. For alcohol, it's mostly the VP bars and Vanderpump, if you're willing to wait in line, and spanish steps outside, which at this point is your best bet with the crowds in town right now.

Breakfast was as expected with Mon Ami Gabi, except my bacon was better this time. Hash browns identical to waffle house (which is a good thing, trust me). Off to pack up Caesars Palace and soon tell then to shove their @^#^ up @^$;;@ @&÷*.

Cant wait to get to a nice joint like Luxor lol

@MCann - looking forward to the Luxor leg of the trip. I have been thinking about staying there lately. I used to get spooked by all the Luxor urban legends but...don’t care anymore.

Please take lots of room pics. If you could sneak some HL slot room pics too, that would be appreciated.

That looks delicious... shame this is another negative experience at Caesars like New Year's.

I have never stayed at Luxor. Cant wait for your pics and updates.

Agree on the Caesars experience. Slots were brutal too, everywhere. Even with a somewhat extended VP run last night, I'm only at 999 TC right this second from gaming, and even though thats really from one full 24 hour period, CET will count it as 2 or 3 gaming days, and probably cut my comps some more. But at this point, I'm almost willing to pay to stay elsewhere 4th of July rather than come back here unless or until something major changes in a good way instead of all the bad ways they've been going.

Also, speaking of bad changes at CET, remembered to check at Cromwell last night: 3 BJ tables were open up front, and all 3 were $25/6:5 - craps was $25

Is it really that bad? Might rethink trying to ‘build’ a relationship with CET...

I haaaaaate Caesars. I usually leave it off when I do my Strip runs. I never win there + I always get lost in there and panic that I will never see daylight again.

Have you noticed the new restaurant, Amalfi, that's replacing Mesa Grill? The Caesars website says a late spring opening. I was hoping to go during a trip in June. Are construction walls still up? Does it look it it may open soon?? TIA for any info you can pass along.

I despise all CET properties. I get my ass handed to me whether I'm at a CET property in Vegas or Council bluffs. Generally when we're in Vegas Strip hopping, we don't even step foot in most of their properties. So I 100% get it

Very helpful to know. Seems so tacky for a place like Vanderpump (given both the Caesars brand and Lisa Vanderpump's brand) that they wouldn't be handling this better. Bummer you didn't get to try it out. I normally don't take advantage of card status but it's times like this where showing a Diamond or Seven Stars card might help, even if there is no official Diamond or Seven Stars line.

And that's ridiculous about the $21 drinks as my guess it's not a coincidence the prices were raised to exclude those drinks from the voucher process.

Still boarded up but also they emailed me listing it as an option for booking food prior to my stay.

I'm in diamond 7 star checkout right now. A person in front of me is upset because hes booked in Augustus and they're trying to put him in Palace. He told them he doesbt want a smaller room. The desk agent just told him they are the same size and only Forum is smaller, which is 1000% false. Dude isnt buying it either. Deskling claimed he needed to get a manager. Wow.

Edit: he got a manager and I got more details. I'll fill in later but ling story short VIP checkin was trying to downgrade him and gaslight him and charge him for the privilege.

@UKFanatic checked just a couple of days ago. He has a pic in his trip report. Construction walls are indeed up. The website has renderings of what the restaurant will look like when completed. I too am anxious to check it out. I'm hoping it opens during my upcoming trip, which ends May 12th. If not I'll check it out when I'm back in June/July.

Not at all surprised. At least the bump-down from Augustus wasn't to Forum.
