Down a quick $150 on golden nugget's $5 high card flush.

At least it wasn't $25 minimum like at Mandalay Bay....that goes quick.

Took a beating at 3 card poker and let it ride.

Leaving GN down $270, off to find a root beer float.

The @maxev Special, Binions Root Beer Float. A very good decision!

It seems that most believe in the MGM "Trip Theo" concept rather than ADT which has been tied more to CET. Here's a link to a discussion last year about this topic:

Leaving down $30 from El Cortez, headed to Circa. Not much blackjack action, the tables were always full, so only one to two hands per shoe. Did get to go from a $10 hand to a $55 hand and double it, and win though. So that was neat.

Same pit boss who kicked me out last time was there but she didn't recognize me.

Circa is really nice. I need to find a downtown hotel to add to my possible rotation with decent rooms. Not sure I'm a Crica level gambler though, for comped rooms at least.

Plus they have these little air vents in the floor, which blows cool air. Very nice on a hot day like this!

    PXL_20220613_213345958.jpg

Also they had the new slot machine cabinets with the canopy. Pretty neat.

And of course their sportsbook is awesome.

I tier matched to Circa. I like the place. But the free Garage Mahal parking alone is worth it.

Had a delicious meal with @maxev at East 8 at circa, then hung out with him for a bit. Super cool guy, you guys should meet him.

TSA took less than 2 minutes to get through, I love when Precheck is actually working. And they have the ID scanners here that don't require a boarding pass, just ID. So it's a breeze.

Gonna grab a smoothie then summarize the TR.

Getting ready to board the plane now, but it's summary time!

Definitely disappointed I didn't have to pull out $14k in cash at TSA in front of everyone. But you can't always win.

It was still a fun trip. Got to hang out with Craig who I never get to see, and spend a day with my girlfriend in Las Vegas, and see my friend in Henderson and her family.

Favorite meal was definitely Gallagher's, man it was so good.

Total spend was around $300 between the hotel the first night, and room charges/tips. I didn't track how much I spent on Uber/taxi/cash tips, but I'm guessing around $200 or so.

    Gambling losses were brutal.
Between the win at Planet Hollywood and the losses today on Fremont, that was a wash.

So it's just my MGM play to record here...

    $17,549.00 coin in
    $13,652.94 coin out
    $3,896.06 loss
Ending TCs: 233,878, so I earned a total of 28405 TC.

    Ending Reward Points: 11506
    Ending SD: $76.31
    Ending HGS: 39484.9

My Theo was only 1727, so I was running 2.25x worse than Theo. Yikes!

The losses sting, but financially I'll be completely fine. Still up for the year, and it has no impact on my life. So just an expensive vacation! Luckily I still have cash in my wallet to bring back and didn't have to pawn off any Magic cards!

I had a great time gambling today on Fremont. Low limits make me happy.

The room at Luxor was absolutely amazing! First time I've felt like I actually needed a suite, and used all the space. Definitely should have sprung for the 2 bedroom, so Craig didn't have to walk through our room to get to the bathroom. Or the elite suite with a separate smaller bathroom in the common area. Regardless it was great, and I hope Craig is ok he had to sleep on the couch.

    Future plans:

Coming back for sure in August for DefCon.

Tentative planning for July 4th weekend, we'll see. Hitting my bankroll limit each day doesn't make a solid case to come back in 3 weeks, but we'll see. Might be back with a smaller bankroll. Tentatively planning Luxor or Excalibur for it, for a lower room rate to leave room for backend.

Thank you all for following along, it was great to have such a big following! I feel famous! I love keeping you all in the loop, posting pics, etc. Sorry it wasn't as exciting as last time with a giant moneyshot on the bed. :D

    Great TR, very enjoyable read!

Win it back next time. Or not. As long as you have fun!
I hope our pads cross in Vegas one day, I’d be happy to buy you a non-alcoholic cocktail!

Very bumpy flight. Sad news, no drink service again this time!

Thanks! If I do in July, it'll be a much smaller BR than this trip.

Me too! That'd be awesome. I'm hoping to make it out for the F1 Race when that happens on the strip.
