    This.

Treat others the way you want to be treated. If you think someone has yelled at you or been rude, then lower your own voice and be extra nice. I am so tired of the "I was disrespected because he looked at me wrong" attitude that somehow gives one the right to be an asshole.

Nope, they are a your chips. In reality the house would prefer you take them and never return them. They told us at my casino a chip cost .34 cents to make, if it has the RFID tag in it just under a dollar. If you don't cash it in, we just order new ones, the $1000 chip you decided not to cash is money in their pockets minus the cost to make the chip , they would rather pay under a buck to replace the chip than the $1000 you could have cashed it in for (just coming up with a sum, could be any amount ). Due to confidentiality clause I cannot discuss reasons tegu may refuse to cash them but I'm sure you can figure them out, but they must follow gaming regulations

We are actually in the entertainment industry

Asking me to do something does not make my job harder , asking me to do extra just to be an @$$ is the issue. I'm sure most would agree that when your doctor says this is what we need to do, we are not going to counter to them to do it another way as they are the ones educated in their field. A bothy way to look at it, when you go out to eat do you go out of your way to make your servers job harder? More than likely not yet it seems ok to do to your dealer.

I disagree that the customer is always right, especially in a casino. If that were the case the casino security department could concentrate on other things than walking out quite a few people who think they have xyz right, I was in security and I can't count how many tried to pull their black players card out (our top tier card) and tell me they were going to call the GM on us, I asked them to kindly get my name right when they did.

Most of us employees are happy to entertain our guest. Most of us are working for minimum wage and tips, so it's to our advantage to ensure we provide you with a good time and we appreciate those that pay our wages.

Quite a few customers can be quite the charmers. Had a couple guys sit at my $15 table just the other night, demand a new shoe and the one guy was not playing. On the floor typically a new shoe is not something that can be requested, it's a high limit offering. These guys are there often, nobody likes dealing to them as they are cocky, mouthy and try to control the table, talk to you like your the lowest form of life, treating us like slaves, plus these guys don't tip ever. If the cards are bad they yell at you like it's your fault, even making threats at times but the casino makes tons of money from them so it's ok. The ones I'm talking about, even the drink girls won't come around because these guys stiffs them. Most of the floors are looking for reasons to get them out for the night a few of our floors though will let you walk over them like carpet which is what I had that night.

Then we have our normal 7am group, they maybe demanding but they are pleasant to talk to, they understand we don't control the cards, they bet for us every so often and just have fun, win or lose they treat as as humans and even thank us for giving them a good time.

I'm of the camp that if I come to a table to deal and your being an @$$, I'm just going to deal and try to get your money as quick as I can. If I'm at a table with people who are having a good time, I too have a good time with them. Iv taught many people how to play, helped many people that are unsure what to do. Most of those are not tippers either because they don't know any better but I do take pleasure passing on knowledge and helping them learn. I taught a girl the progressive betting system the other day plus informed her why certain hits she was making were bad, I helped her turn 60 into 350 in a matter of an hour.

Sorry I got off point but had to respond.
