My fiancé and I live in Lakewood, been here 11 years---usually go out to a bar or two for events like that but leaving at halftime is such a boner kill I just stayed home to watch.
CLEVELAND has 9 letters And baseball has 9 positions in the field Play 9 innings —-beer is about 9$ my choice? The Cleveland 9—-
I had the pleasure of visiting Cleveland about 3 years ago to watch the Indians in a 3 game series against Detroit, I enjoyed my short time there and I hope to get back there one day.
I always liked our Cleveland layovers. Maybe not so much in the winter, but overall, I liked it. Our layover hotel was near the R&R HOF, and things were hopping down at The Flats. Unfortunately, I hear that area has nearly shut down. I'm guessing the name "Cleveland Baseball Team", will win out.
I did read that they didn't want to go down the Washington NFL route and wanted to put a name to the team, I thinks that is why they have announced it now so they have 12 months to sort it out before the 2022 season.
Im not sure how any of that works. Guardians or at least the notoriety didnt start here til a few years ago when people started putting it on shirts.
I got an e mail from the Indians today and I was asked to take a fan survey, questions were about ticket packages and fan experience, no questions about the name change though.
I did a golf thing with some members of the SF baseball club. I assure you they are not giants. It's a fiction. lol
