We will be in Vegas next week!! Yay!!! We've never seen a Cirque du Soleil show. Which do you think are the best? I've heard some are not as good as others.

I've only seen KA, twice, and thought it was really good.

The popular opinion is everyone should start with Mystere'. It will be the most classic Cirque show and then you graduate to the others.

Mystere is great. People seem to love or hate Ka.

Beatles Love seems to be liked by the vast majority. We've seen it twice and going again in December.

For us Zumanity is worth-while seeing.

I have seen Mystere' three times. Saw it twice and then went back and checked it out again when they changed it up a bit a couple years ago. I thought KA was good, but glad I didnt pay for the tix. I did like Zumanity, I thought it was entertaining but I knew what to expect. Lots of people think they are seeing something different and that causes the disappointment. Everyone I have taken to Mystere' has loved it.

Ask enough people and you will eventually get every Cirque show named as the best/favorite (except Criss Angel, lol). IMO, O is the best. Ka and MJ One are close seconds

If you scroll down the page, you will see this topic covered often.

Based on some past posts, you will find folks that say xxx show is the best. Some say Ka, then O, then Love, then Believe, etc.

Based on seeing everyone except Believe, my list is LOVE, O, KA, One,Mystere, Zumanity, Believe (oops.. have not seen Zarkana yet)

Been to LOVE around 8 times.

Yes, that is very true. But, the "not as good" depends on the opinions of others. And that varies.

For a first show, I'd recommend Mystere. There's no story line to follow and it's not as over the top as some of the others, esp. KA. O was pretty spectacular, but I think it's the most expensive and there's pretty much no chance of getting discount tix. I thought Love was OK. It was really more about the Beatles music than the show. No parts of that show blew me away.

You're not missing much. I thought Zarkana was boring.

That is the reason we have not bothered. If it was someones FIRST show, it would probably be fine, but after seeing all the others, well....

I usually suggest folks see Mystere as their first show, and then pick from the others.

Mystere would be a good first show.

As others have said, Mystere is a good first show. This is what Cirque started out to be, and they do it well. We've seen almost all the shows and liked them all with the exception of MJ1, which was boring to us and basically was an excuse to play Michael's music really loud. Zumanity was fun but not recommended for your first show, since it's unlike anything else. We are also in the KA lovers group, in that there is actually a story involved here (albeit hard to follow and somewhat contrived).

For your first show, you'll be entertained no matter which one you pick.
