ok, someone who is downtown need to check on Circa’s video poker pay tables and report back. I’m pretty sure most will be like the Long bar at the ‘D’. But........I’m holding out hope that there will be a bank of machines that have the 8/5 Bonus Poker on them. In fact, I’m hoping that all of the ‘Link Down’ messages that people have reported on the VUE Bar at the ‘D’ and the linked progressives at Golden Gate were because of Circa not being online yet.

I am nowhere near Vegas right now, but I have one confirmed boots-on-the-ground report that $5 denom DDB out on the floor (not bartop) is 8/5. At that denom on that game, I expect at least one number better.

10/8/5 Bonus at $10 denom. That is disgusting. Even Venetian has Bonus at 7/5 starting at $5 denom. I was fully expecting Longbar BP tables at Circa.

9/6/5 Double Bonus is about as bad as one should ever settle for DB.

    Given the
This is what I was expecting, based on the tables at the Bar Canada at the D, with similar, if not identical, pay tables. I was sickened when I saw a JoB pay table with even money for 2 pair at Bar Canada!

When you see VP on those newer curved screens, run!

MODERATOR NOTE: @Ty made this post in another thread about Circa, but I thought it should be included here too. Hope Ty doesn't mind me copying it over. :)

I hear the casino is very nice. The lender probably doesn’t know crap about odds; only due dates and amount$.
It was a wonderful :p expectation (I had it too although o_O in a remote sense) but probably not  realistic to payback rates to build the C.

And the parking garage name gives you a  clue.

Imagine the reaction to parking cars in such a landmark.

    Stall 7B.
Thank you sir. :biker: :biker: :biker:

    Blasphemous!!

Walked through this evening. The bank with the playable 8/5 BP was full so I missed it. That was pretty much the only bank of video poker on the floor besides the one bank in the high limit room. I definitely could have missed some, but it looked like there was almost no VP on the floor. There are tons of bartops/sportbook counter video poker machines.
    IMG_20201028_173124.jpg

The sportsbook counter machines had a shady form of bonus poker. If you scan the paytable you'll see an 8 followed by a 5. If you don't look further you might not notice two pair pays 1 and other weirdness. I can ignore a poor paytable, but a paytable designed to full me just makes me mad.
    IMG_20201028_173150.jpg

At the level 2 bar near the sportbook the bartops were multi-game. Ultimate X, Five Play, Ten Play, Spin Poker, ...

The multiplay and Spin Poker BP up to the 50 cent level was real BP...6/5 BP :yuck:

    IMG_20201028_173714.jpg

I had a new One Club Card made at the D the other day...looks like that was a waste of time. Well, maybe once the crowds die down I will give 8/5 BP a try now that I know it's there.

I have no idea why so many people expected to see decent to good paytables.

Less-desirable to bad paytables have been the rule, not the exception, for years now.

I wasn't expecting much since I'm not all that impressed with the existing VP at D/GG. I'm just a little put-off by the worse than MGM/CZR paytables. But what really gets me is calling a game Bonus Poker that pays 1 for two pair and has 8/5 in the paytable. I feel like I'm being conned.

I give them credit for having some decent VP (real 8/5 BP), and maybe when it settles down I will run some coin-in through to see how tier credits accumulate and if any decent offers are generated. But I will keep my eyes open at Derek Stevens properties for "tricks."

He's not losing any business from me anyway. Last year I played 20 minutes of craps at GG because friends wanted to play there. Before that the last time I gambled in those joints was the time I put a $100 bill in a VP machine at Fitzgerald's and cashed out after a couple of hands...that's the day I learned what a coin-dropper was.

Damn, I was super excited about this hotel opening as a reason to visit downtown more often (good pay tables but a bit more of a Strip-casino vibe). Those DDB screen shots I'm seeing aren't exactly tempting, though...too bad. I'll still check it out but no strong reasons to stay there if that's the case.

Now that things have settled a little, are the paytables for DDB at Circa still correct? Anybody know? What about JoB? Thanks in Advance!

As far as I know, no major changes. You should be able to find 9/5 DDB at 50c+, 8/5 at quarters. Not sure about JoB. 8/6 Bonus Deluxe (98.49%) will be the best game available other than the 4 units that offer 8/5 Bonus for 50c+.

This may have already been reported but as of this weekend the long rows of video poker machines on the 1st and 2nd floor over looking the Sports Book area have 8/5 Bonus Poker at the $0.50 and higher level. This is full pay 8/5 NOT the 8/5 that pays only 5 credits for 2 pairs.
