    My Trip Report

    Just got back
I have to say I was very impressed with everything about Circa
The customer service was second to none
Was a last minute trip and met up with you tube group for Matt Bridger
Richard Wilks casino guru was there as well

Had a studio suite and it was perfect for me
Asked for one away from fremont and it was quiet as could be

I was afraid of rumors that slots were tight here, but found it was better than I expected and had a lot of good wins
Machines are mostly in carousels so great not to be packed close to others

People did wear masks and the cleaning staff were constantly cleaning soon after anyone left the machine

Barry’s steakhouse was excellent, as was Andriamos at the D

The sports book is the most amazing I’ve seen, and long bar was impressive!

Circa definately upped the class game for downtown and I will definately be back

Here are some of the wins from this trip!!!

Wow, those are some nice wins, especially the royal. Is downtown as whacky, crazy and "colorful" as I think it is. I want to check it out but I am afraid it might be a bit much for us. I don't know how comfortable we would be walking around with a days bankroll down there.

    Lol
Actually I’d still rate it high for the casino, cleanliness, very classy

Forgot to mention though, waitress service was either great or non existant

I feel a little the same, but go weekdays downtown for less crowds

I never felt unsafe to be honest

Now would I go weekends? No, I don’t like crowds and am too old lol

Go downtown. It's not anymore dangerous than the strip is. I'd even say if you're staying on Fremont, it's safer. Hard to get robbed and beat when you're in a crowd of people.

We both are 65 years old but we are a young 65. We still rock on and party hard. I really want to see El Cortez, Circa, The Golden Nugget and The Cal. I have found memories of seeing Fremont Street on my first trip in 1985. If you never felt threatened I will make a point of ubering down there.

Agree, I have never felt unsafe there. I love the people watching!
I just prefer it when it's not packed, just because I don't care for crowds, that's all.
Some people love it packed and more power to them if they like it.
That's what is great about Vegas, there is something for everyone!

Great pics! And great wins! Were those handpays at The D or Circa?

Circa, I couldn't hit a thing in the D this trip, nothing at Plaza, nothing at Golden Nugget. So I guess my timing was good at Circa!
There was a Dancing Drums Prosperity machine on the second floor, close to the Dragonlink games, the one facing the escalators just kept
hitting for three handpays in about an hour.
Then of course, it finally went dead but it was a fun run!

Interesting. I usually start my trips there so technically I spend night one walking around with a 21 day bankroll in my bag (I never remember to drop it off in the safe on night one)

And of course, when I stay at The D, they never allow early check in so I have the budget for however many days I have left for the trip on me.

I'm a young 63 year old woman and I only stay downtown - many times alone. @zoey11 did you prefer Barry's or Andiamo?

Wow, that's crazy! I'm doing 2 nights at The D and then 1 at the Plaza, I think I'll see what I can do at Circa that night. Did you go up to the Legacy Club at Circa? I'm curious about it.

I had surf and turf at both places.
The baked potato and steak at Barrys was the best! But Andriamos, the lobster was better. So it was a toss up for me. I loved both!

I went and walked around it in June just to check it out and see the Sportsbook, but I didn't really spend much time there and I didn't play at all. It was the afternoon and dead, so I'm looking forward to going there at night and seeing how it is, spending time and playing. Gotta get a drink at Vickies too!
