It's like Roosevelt in NE Philly....just don't lol
Lost 200 total, but good times at the D
Is valet open yet and how full is the parking garage? I accidentally made a reservation and will be arriving Saturday for a two nights. Flamingos garage can be a pita on weekends as I recall.
I hate when that happens.
No valet, full garage
Baguette (3.75 ooh la las)
Carrot amuse bousche (3 bugs bunny's)
Mushroom soup du jour (4.25 funghi). The was quite good, tasting of portabello, oyster and crimini mushrooms.
Cavatelli with shrimp..... It was woefully underseasoned... (2.5 mangias)
Spinach side..good, well seasoned (4 popeyes)
@Slider had the hangar steak at my recommendation, and was happy...cooked perfect mid rare and potatoes were delish (4.5 moos)
One trip, I had the MAG hangar steak three nights in a row. So good, esp for the price!
Good morning Las Vegas.... something something, down 2700 thus far, something..... It's been a great trip despite the Gambling luck, and really enjoying the Flamingo and the Premium Room (mini suite type) I'm at the end of the hallway, high up, and I'm sleeping like a rock, very very well rested (5 zzzs)
Today @Slider flys home, so I'm gonna drive him to McCarran.
Having made premier silver on UA for the first time thanks to the lower pandemic requirements, I scored my first free first class upgrade, and was able to move to the exit row for free for my second flight... It looks pretty full, so I'm gonna try to get bumped in Houston...we'll see.
I remember reading about Blueberry hill on here, and it looks like it's near McCarran, so... that's a plan right now.
Then I have a tee time at Canyon Gate...... then I am thinking either
Palace Station for bingo...... and chillax
Southpoint to chase on DSTP VP.
Blueberry Hill and BINGO!
Okay, the first vote wins it (I think I wanted it to win...)
What to eat at Blueberry Hill?
Don't know but VMBers love it and it's on my list to try as well.
ETA: Heard the pancakes are great. If they had BB French Toast that would be my pick but I'm a FT fan.
They have a couple things in the South of the Border section of the menu, Huevos Rancheros might work for you. I had a chorizo omelette and was still full at dinner.
So no blueberry hill as big line.... Next time... Del taco instead. Tried an eight layer burrito, which is 14 percent more layerage than the old taco bell seven layer. (3 gringos)
Golf at canyon gate, for as good as I played last trip...it's that bad this trip....stupid game.
Graycliffe box pressed maduro Churchill (3.4 puffs) it's ok.
Greens are lightning today.. (4 augusta nationals)
Left after 9 holes as not to hate golf forever
Just put down all zeroes for the back nine... it’s kinda true and it will probably make you feel better
