I doubt they will be open on Sundays I mean that's their whole "thing".
Bible belt loves them because of this.
Why would they do something to piss off their main supporters?
I think they fed people during a power outage or flooding on a Sunday recently though....so, dunno?

016 - Copy.jpg Here's a picture of me from last summers "dress like a cow day", where you get a free sandwich if you wear anything cow related, when I walked in I got several smiles from the workers, no doubt because they were very impressed. On the way out a mother with 3 kids walked in, dressed from head to toe like cows..
I expect some of you fellow VMB'ers to partake in this next year(ken/joe, etc).

The way the franchise agreement is structured, the operator pays a small upfront fee compared to McDonald's and others. But they pay a higher % of sales as franchise fees. The average store does over $4 million a year and only open 6 days. There is no way this location will be any different with its operating hours.

I suspect that Chick-Fil-it (sic) are one of the few brands that could make a go of the Hawaiian Marketplace location.

I'm sorry, I really can't get excited when yet another of the usual suspect chains invades the area!

When I am in Las Vegas, I want something VEGAS and not something I can get in any other major city, let alone any bump-in-the-road anywhere.

I agree but remember, people from around the world comes to Vegas and this may be their only chance at a Chick-Fil-it or In and Out!

Fast food is very popular with frequenting-visiting, Vegas-savvy regulars like those here at VMB.

It's kinda hard to get all high-and-mighty on provenance purity unless someone eats every Vegas meal at a mom-and-pop or the relative handful of "nice" sit-downeries of Vegas origin. Even buffets, vaunted or not, are formulaic, when you think about it.

Eat what you enjoy. And enjoy what you eat.

Good luck finding many mom n pop restaurants in Vegas. Top of my head I can only name three. Nora's, Chicago Joe's and Bob Taylor's Ranch House. I'm not really sure Bob Taylor's qualifies as mom & pop anymore, but at least independent with only one location.

Maybe there are more, but that is all we found in our two years of living there.

Seriously, Joe? That's it? What is your definition of a non-chain?

Uh, not to be a snot here, but if those are the only three independent places that you can name, you must be very new to Las Vegas. Welcome to the Board! :)

If you ever think that there are few independent places in LV, just take a peek at Westie's Friday postings, or look at any of those in-room mags, or watch local LV TV, or ... or ... or.

I seldom if ever eat at any of the "usual suspect" chains when in LV, and I have never gone hungry! :)

Great news for cows everywhere. I enjoy a good chicken sandwich.

Though I can get ChikFilet at home. One of my basic rules is to not eat at places I can while at home, though I am sure losing my one purchase will do little too their bottom line.

Being open sunday would really surprise me. Was reading a few months ago about how they are going into one of the NFL stadiums. I want to say Atlanta but cant recall and still wouldnt be open on Sundays. Basically just open for Thursday and Monday games and other events at the stadium.

Well thank you for welcoming me. I’ve only been on the board since 2009 and only lived in Vegas for two years. So I guess I’m a newbie.
