I picked these up from a street vendor a while back. I (try to remember to) carry a charged one with me all the time.

They will fully charge the Samsung Galaxy about twice on one charge and the netbook maybe 3/4 of the way from an almost-dead state.

My new(er) phone does always ask permission to share data, if it's requested, but I still don't want to chance it.

Shout out to @Grid for being on top of this even last year! @44inarow and @ColoVegPlayer thanks for bringing this up about the power pins. I have been reading a lot about juice jacking recently. Must be because this is the travel season and many articles are warning against plugging in at the airport with a usb cable. If you don't have one of the power only cables mentioned above, use a power plug if you are in a public place!

I can’t even remember to take my players card out with a big lanyard on it that I can’t possibly miss so I know I would forget my cell phone.
I don’t post pictures of big wins on Facebook because I would probably have relatives suddenly come out of the woodwork.

In October at Flamingo my sister had her phone laying on the wireless charger on her machine, her husband was playing beside her and hit a bonus round. When she turned back to her screen, her phone was gone, just that quick. I texted her phone and someone quickly texted back that they had her phone and would meet us at the bar. He said he had found the phone on the floor and returned it to us. Not sure if he swiped the phone and was trying for a tip in returning it or if whomever grabbed it off the charger dropped it when they couldn't get past the password on it.

Lesson learned, if you use the wireless charger keep a close eye on your phone.

The sawdust is the worst thing about coming out of the woodwork. And let me tell you it has been tough tracking you down. Auntie Marie and Uncle Bob desperately need your help and we know a couple of thousand is no big deal. Please help. Thanks sis. We know you love us all.

Late to this thread, but the two new bartops at MSS, BHB have USB connectors on the side. Useless w/o a cord of course.

I'm holding my breath waiting for someone at Defcon to start hacking slot machines, either in a lab environment or in the wild.

"Charging phone at slots is getting easier"
Most important question is: Will there be a fee for charging?

I recall something fishy happened to the slot machines at the Linq at DefCon 26. Not sure it was an actual hack, just a disruption.
