CET Took My Dec 31 Bonus Points?!

Hi all,

On December 31st, I earned the 1,000 tier credit bonus. It was then applied to my 2017 Tier Credit count. However, I just logged in today and now the points have been removed, yet the points from shopping and food have stayed for 2017. Anyone experience something similar? Is this how it's supposed to be?

 

If you earned it in 2016 - it belongs to 2016, even if it took a day to post. For some people, those bonus points might get them to the next tier.

For reward credits, it really does not matter what year it hits.

 

Yea, just strange that it was on my account for the last six days and then purged.

the tier credits will still go towards your tier status for 2017, but tier credits are also zeroed out at the end of every calendar year.

Right. Notice how they don't make your monthly TR statement available for about a week after a months ends. It takes them that long to do adjustments, wait for credit card charges to settle, etc.

 

Tier credits or reward credits? I am thinking you only get tier credits for gambling.

 

Just double-checked and you DO get tier credits for casino spend (see below). I wonder if mLife got rid of that because I don't see any tier credit earnings for hotel stays on their site.

Tier Credits are earned based on your play in a Total Rewards casino, purchases at participating restaurants, entertainment venues, and more. The Tier Credits you earn in a calendar year(January 1 through December 31) add up to your annual TierScore, which determines your Tier Status within Total Rewards.
