Phahahahahahahahhahahahahahah please pardon my French sorry Sonya please do not think less of me. But please allow me to say this "UNFUCKING REAL"!!!!!!!! I fucking saw this shit coming wow what a bunch A-Holes!!! First they don't have enough guts to start this shit and seat on the side line then slide this fee in!!!! Un fucking real!!!
I'm sorry guys those who gotta pay the parking fees but I believe if you play little bit you can make it to pearl status:MGM property's only. Then you don't have to pay shit..... good luck my friends.....

One more reason to skip the whole car rental thing.

But - the lines for a cab and uber are going to get worse.

Planning our last trip or two to Vegas. The thrill is about to run out.

Yeah last trip after the concert at MB I saw the cab line it was like mile freaking long unreal.... thank goodness I'm a platinum member I didn't have to wait. But it is biggest BS!!!

I am not worried about the fee, because as a diamond member, I bet it will be free. But the time to get into and out of the parking lots I would think would increase. CP parking is already time consuming.

I was just reading article on Vegas revenue for past quarter it reads

"Las Vegas Strip
More than $503 million (about 54 percent) of Nevada's total gaming win in October came from the Las Vegas Strip.

Shareholders of strip mega-resort operators Wynn Resorts, Limited (NASDAQ: WYNN), Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS) and MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) are watching Strip numbers closely.

Taxable revenue for the Vegas Strip was up 8.3 percent year-over-year in October following September’s 7.0 percent gain. So far this fiscal year, Strip revenue is up 6.3 percent compared to last year.

Downtown Vegas
Historic Downtown Las Vegas, which has performed extremely well in recent months, followed a solid September with a huge 28.7 percent revenue gain in October.

So far this fiscal year, Downtown Vegas taxable revenue is up 13.7 percent, the strongest growth number of any region in the state.

Shares of Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE: BYD), which operates three downtown casinos, are up 6.4 percent in the past month. Nevada pure-play Red Rock Resorts Inc (NASDAQ: RRR) is also up 4.9 percent in that time."

You notice that downtown got most of revenue increase? I'm not surprised by this at all... people are realizing they get much better $=value in downtown. Again good luck my friends...those who's gotta pay for parking.

By Ricardo Torres-Cortez

Caesars Entertainment Corp. announced Tuesday that it will launch a paid valet and self-parking initiative at eight of its nine Las Vegas properties beginning in December and throughout the beginning of 2017, joining MGM Resorts International’s paid parking policy being instituted this year.

The Rio will not be included in this program, and implementation dates will vary by location, according to a Caesars Entertainment news release.

"Our priority is to ensure that our hotel guests, local residents and Total Rewards loyalty members have an improved parking experience," said Bob Morse, president of hospitality at Caesars Entertainment. "Guests who stay, game and shop at our resorts have said that parking spaces and valet services have become increasingly scarce, so we believe that implementing a paid parking program while also investing in LED parking guidance systems will help address these issues."

Local residents with proper identification and Total Rewards loyalty members rated Platinum and above will continue to self-park for free. Complimentary valet will also be available for all Total Rewards loyalty

According to Caesars Entertainment’s website, valet parking fees at Bally’s, Caesars Palace, The Cromwell, Paris and Planet Hollywood will be $13, for up to four hours; $18, four to 24 hours; and $18 for each additional day or a fraction thereof. Valet fees at Flamingo, Harrah’s and The Linq: $8, up to four hours; $13, four to 24 hours; and $13 for each additional day or a fraction thereof.

:( Oh well.

Uh-huh. Not at all unexpected, as I'm very sure that people playing at MGM properties are parking at CET and walking across the street.

At least it's still free (for now!) for Platinum.

As I've said before, don't expect anything to get better for the casino player until we have the next economic downturn!

Whats going to happen is everyone is going to start charging. Using the excuse of "People parking here for free but go over there to gamble" "So we had to start charging".

.... and one more reason to skip the STRIP!! they can shove it! "improve the experience" that is so insulting. it is no wonder they think that we ALL are dumb. they never run out of tourists that will gladly pay all of the overpriced Strip crap. it makes them feel special and privileged I suppose.

This is the last straw for me now. The Strip has changed so much and now are starting with all these fees. Canceling my hotel stay at Flamingo now. Will stay at Aliante this trip instead.

I'm a downtown fan and like to see the Fremont casinos thriving, and I've stopped renting a car so this doesn't impact me as much, but.......the numbers have Strip gaming revenue as still increasing. Now, granted, these numbers can wildly fluctuate and are calculated differently depending on the month (some article on the October numbers say they were high due to an extra weekend compared to the previous year), but in general, the Strip hasn't seemed to be hurting for business. I wonder what incentive these properties are going to have to discontinue the ridiculous fees.

At least they not charging admission ....lol

I hope some MGM and CET executives read this SHIT and take all these SHIT AND SHOVE IT UP TO THHEIR ASS!!!

Like our friend mentioned above, charging the fee to "improve the experience" phhahhahahahahah who ever originally wrote that should be fired.

We all knew it was just a matter of time before CET implemented this policy.

I see the end of free drinks on the horizon. Count on it.

Probably the same PR person who claimed we all insisted on the Resort Fees.

I think it's a mistake but as long as people are willing to pay, this will continue to expand.

Complaining about a parking fee, but not saying shit about $18 drinks.....classic!!!

Furthermore, your fee will be comped if you gamble enough (and it's not much at their other resorts so far 50TC) so yeah, I'm fine with them charging people
