Both my mom & daughter had CET credits that quit 'earning' when SR ended. My mom received a final 'cash-out' of an odd number of credits so her date extended to 11/22. However my daughter did not receive a final 'clearing out' and hers will expire on 9/9. Her players card is not 'findable' after 3 or 4 moves in a 12 month period (graduating & getting a new job).

I did a purchase through the marketplace under her log-in vs. her spending dollars on games & it was completed at the beginning of July. (I had to buy the stuff anyway so I figured I would help her out vs using my normal rewards program). Does anyone have direct experience with the marketplace as to how long it takes to receive credit? I know through my other rewards programs it takes anywhere from 8 days to 30 days & just trying to get any idea for CET so she knows at what point she might have to log in and actually buy chips in their game if the marketplace purchase doesn't register.

She has slightly over $120 so it would be a shame to lose that. She likely won't go until late next year so it will have to be done a couple more times.

And sorry that title came out screwy lol!!! 'Marketingplace' OOOPS!!!!

They tell you 45 days from after the last item ships from your order. My order never got credited, so I e-mailed them and within about a week or so I was credited. I've heard of people getting credited fairly fast, though. I say also look into rotating the Facebook game, too, which during some promos a $2 purchase will get you RCs (though it's typically a $5 minimum). TR Dining and Locally, too if they're in your area. They post pretty fast.

I would try to extend the credits through TR dining over the marketplace. Twice after making purchases through the marketplace at 1-800-flowers Ive had to request the credits after not seeing them post. I am still waiting on credits from April that they said would post in June. My wife received RC's within a week via TR Dining after have lunch at Earl of Sandwich back here at home after not using her card on our May trip.

Does anyone know if it doubles up if you pay with the TR visa for stuff in the market place?

I'll look at the dining too. Around us we have nothing (last I looked). So for mom it will be harder. My daughter has one of my CCs there that we could just hook to her acct- she is in Rochester MN so maybe something there. Don't believe it is hooked to any other program. My Marriott card is hooked to AA dining already.

The last time I did this was about 3 years ago, and then it appeared they took the broad marketplace offline for a while.

There is 7 months between some of my trips, so I need to do it. So I usually use the Walmart link and find the cheapest thing that either has free shipping or free pick up at store. Like a pack of batteries, lol.

I believe it was usually two weeks from the date of purchase to the date I saw the credits hit, but that could be a calendar quirk. I'd expect them to be operating on close to a monthly cycle, like with the TR statements. So maybe by the end of the first week in August.

It's not reassuring to see a couple of people say they had to follow-up to get their credits.

While the marketplace was offline, I did use the online casino, and that worked fine, although I don't remember how long it took. And I think I saw someone here say they reduced the minimum purchase from $5 to $2, but I would poke around the TR or the casino site (if there is one) to verify that.

Sounds like you have it planned out.

I did one purchase and it took a few weeks for the credits to show up. The online casino games show up the next day and that's the way I would go. I can confirm the cheapest purchase would be $2.

I'll cross my fingers they show up soon. At least other options to try. My daughter likely will go with me next year & it would be nice to have that extra towards her food. I have a couple of moms cards so I can push her days to March easily.
