Yes, there is an "overall" number, and a "market specific" number from what I have read. Playing the bare minimum could hurt both of these for this promo unless you normally play like I do. This promo is definitely not for higher rollers unless it's in their original plan to gamble in various places.

Details are out. It's all about tier credits and prizes. You earn 250 tier credits for each of the first 18 properties you visit between January 1 and the end of March. You earn 500 credits for property visits 18-36. A visit is defined as earning 25 credits at a property.

The wording at https://www.totalrewards.com/content/cet-tr/en/promotions/quest-for-rewards.html states that members who visit 18-36 properties will receive 500 credits/visit. But the details are clear that it is only 500 tc for visits after the 18th.

There is also a drawing for 61 prizes. 50 winners will receive diamond status (or 10,000 reward credits), 10 will win 100,000 RCs, and one lucky winner will be upgraded to 7* (or 1,000,000 RCs). More visits means more entries into the drawing.

I'm not too excited by the promotion, but it's an easy 2,250 tier credits just visiting Vegas. I can easily swing by the five mid-Atlantic locations, so I'm looking at 3,500 bonus tier credits without trying. Skiing in Tahoe will net 750 more.

Playing the minimum 25 TCs at all 36 properties would get you close to diamond: 900 TCs from playing + 13,500 bonus TCs = 14,400 TCs.

I bet we won't see a 50% tier credit bonus quarter this year.

Easy 2250 points for me in January. Can't wait! Gives me an excuse to go to Rio and Paris, both of which I usually avoid

.I'm not at all interested in the TC/RC, so I'll buy 28+ postcards and get my entries that way.

Yeah, you won't get the RC bonus, just the entries into the drawing. However, they must be mailed on separate days. Postcards with the same postmark date will be classified as one entry . . .

I may be in Vegas in Feb. so it would be easy to pick up those casinos plus the two here and get a good head start on Platinum. But I haven't played at a CET casino in almost two years and I haven't missed it. I have to decide if I want to build anything back with them, especially since I'm the type of player they couldn't care less about.

Yeah, but since I'm a Seven Star member, those points aren't "significant" to me. For lower level players it might.

Why? This promo is mostly worthless unless you are close to making Diamond. It's cheaper to buy a Founders' Card to automatically get Diamond at $395 or whatever than it is to visit EVERY property. And it would crush any ADT you had if you played the minimums in each location. Obviously in places with multiple casinos you would want to do them all in one gaming day. I'm VERY disappointed. :( I was hoping it was closer to the 2012 rules where I earned $750 worth of Reward Credits by visiting seven cities (hell, I'd even take half of that). If I took the same route now, I would earned an extra...4000 Tier Credits and no Reward Credits...Whoopdee Shit. I guess I could make Platinum in 2017 doing it! LOL If we bother to go to Vegas, we could cut out two spots and earn 3500 Tier in Bonus. But also less worth it since we have to earn 350 Tier on our own to earn the possibility of platinum, no thanks. Last time this promo existed, 175 Tier each got us $750 in Rewards Credits EACH. That is the equivalent of earning 75,000 Tier in play each without bonuses/multipliers. I doubt I will ever earn 75,000 Tier, EVER. My tier score is currently 185...

Still may go to Vegas in the winter, but it will NOT be because of this. If it was the "old" rules, there would have been a great chance of us going to Vegas before Mar. 31.

No the way the promo is written, it's worthless for people like me (see rant above). The only people it possibly would help are those that are "close" to Diamond (because of the resort fee waiver + other perks) and this bonus pushes them over.

I agree, I find this promotion useless, unless you are going to vegas. Who wants to drive around the northeast or mid-west during the winter. I think I will avoid the 50 car pile-up.

Confused on the rules for mail in, or I should say not exactly clear. As paperposter stated, just mail in a postcard a day, but then someone else stated those entries only apply for the drawing. Aren't credits determined by the badges earned ?

Participants are eligible to receive a Tier Credit bonus (“Tier Credit Bonus”) based on the number of Badges earned.
Participants will receive a Tier Credit Bonus based on the number of Badges earned during the Offer Period as follows

For purposes of determining the number of entries received, the number of Mail-In Entries for an Entrant will be treated as Badges and added to the number of earned Badges (if any). For example, if an Entrant earns 10 Badges and has an additional 16 Mail-In Entries, the Entrant will receive 34 drawing entries per the chart above (10 + 16 = 26 Badges, which results in 34 drawing entries). 30. Maximum of 36 combined Badges and Mail-In Entries per Entrant

I understand badges determine the number of entries into the drawing, but badges also determine the number of tier credits as shown on page 6 of the rules, so why can't you just do a postcard a day as paperposter suggested to earn those badges ? I'll reread the rules but I don't see where it says badges earned by mail in don't qualify for credits.

That is correct, you don't earn badges from postcards, just entries. I don't care about the badges, because the TC aren't "important" to me. I'm going to get TC anyway, and the minuscule bonus for TC won't help me.
