Ran across this tidbit from the Seven Stars Insider site:

Great Race had some issues, IIRC, but we got some decent points from it for not out of the way trips.

Looking forward to the details. We will be in Vegas on New Years, either NOLA or Biloxi in Feb/March and Windsor a few times. Maybe head over to Hammond for a day trip if it is worth it. Hope it is something worthwhile.............Rick

i think its if you pay to park at all the vegas hotels in one week you get bonus points. because us the customers asked for it

That works for me since they just announced the first GGWU bonus dates, which are 2/24-3/2/2017.

I hope it is like race to rewards. My DH still has over $500 in RC's from the last time.
Thanks for the info and I look forward to more information on this.

looking forward to participate and work with other board members by sending each other cards and playing at local locations to get the credits-----did this last time and worked out well---save on travel expenses-------lets keep an eye open for the details-----I can do ac and philly, last time they were considered 2 separate destinations even though 60 miles apart-----

I bet this time around it won't be possible to swipe other people's cards. Towards the end of the last promotion you needed ID to swipe your card at Vegas properties.

lets wait for the details-----last time you just needed to use your card [or a fellow posters card] in the machine and get the needed points----cheating?-maybe---as I and others see it ,this is a chance to get some rewards from a casino giant who tries to get the most $'s from their players with charges for parking and resort fees , along with 6/5 blackjack and short-pay video-poker games-----

But doesn't swiping another's card incur a gaming (and possible low play day)? It would really have to be a lot of RCs for me to risk that.

Yes, each swipe will result in a low play day. And future offers will impact that.

But won't the low pay only really effect the casinos you low play at? If I low play Horseshoe Balt., where I have never played before, it doesn't effect my offers from Windsor or LV?

No, because ADT is calculated across ALL of your play at CET properties. Local play may be less affected, but your overall ADT will suffer. My host often quotes "casino ADT" vs. "overall ADT".

Absolutely triggers a gaming day. I sorta doubt it would be worth it for you unless you were naturally planning to play there and use offers anyway. But you should be able to receive some benefit if

But for those with low ADTs, it was (and hopefully will be) great. Especially in 2011. Only one TC in each destination was needed. In 2012, they upped the requirement to 25 TCs earned per metro area, and locations were slightly weighted. That year we visited Chicago, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Metropolis, Tunica, St. Louis (RIP), and S. Indiana. That netted us the maximum 75,000 RCs EACH. Our normal gaming days in Vegas are usually less than 50 TCs each, so this was huge for us.

I did the almost the same trip instead of KC & Tunica, I did San Diego and Windsor.

Seriously? That's only $500 coin-in at TAG bar. You don't make it to 50 TC with your usual perfect play?

I probably will break 50 TC per day now with the "red light/green light" system. :( In the past, I intentionally played pretty slow. In Tunica on Monday, I earned 16TC (144 max quarter hands) in about one hour of bartops at Horseshoe. I did get $580 coin-in on a bartop on Saturday in ~3.5 hours that was about 99.9% after the $1500 Royal progressive (I didn't hit it, but got drunk).

And I used to play even slower than this! I do things like pause, drink, look at the TV/phone, talk to people willing to have a chat, etc. I probably talked @Riders ear off in September; a drink ticket definitely didn't spit out at cosmo for me that night...lol

For me, drinking is step 1, playing is step 2. Lol.

They to have more than one ADT. We once played heaving in Tunica and got lots of offers and hundreds in freeplay on many dates. Now we play mostly Cherokee and they send great FP offers (hundred$$) but I get $5 and $10 from Horseshoe Tunica.
