My husband and I received an offer in the mail for flight and room to Laughlin. We have received these offers before but never thought much about them. I had a few questions. We live in NE Georgia and our offer says that we would leave from Augusta. Does anyone know if these flights are typically non stop, or would we have connections? If you have used these types of offers in the past, how has the experience been? Any thoughts, or tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Hate to be ambiguous but it depends. We flew on a charter from Newark to Laughlin and, because it was a charter, it was nonstop. However, we're going from Newark to Reno in June and it's on UAL. We fly nonstop to SFO and change planes to fly to Reno. So I guess my answer would be to call them and ask. We just booked another freebie from EWR to Reno for Sept. and they are using SW which has no nonstops from EWR to Reno.

BTW we really enjoyed our trip but we left a day early; a friend picked us up in Laughlin, we drove to LV, stayed for another week and flew home from there. Have you been to Laughlin? We like it but we're old and we fit in well. We enjoy the river, the river walk and always rent a car so that we can drive to other places.

I dont know if they are nonstop or not as i have not taken one. I do however go to laughlin alot and talked to alot of people abut them and they all seem to enjoy the flights. no one has ever said anything bad about them and they are coming from all over the place. Laughlin is cool if you havent been before. Its older with an older clientele and it doesnt really have shows or celebrity restaurants. If you dont need those things or gucci shoping sprees then you will be fine.

The Laughlin flights are almost always charters, the Reno flights are typically regular commercial flights. There of course is never a connection on the charter, but depending on the distance and the type plane, they might need to land to refuel on the trip.

Not so sure about all flights to Laughlin being charters now that they have non stops from PHX. Got an email from our host offering free air on commercial airline to PHX and then to Laughlin. Best to call and find out.

Thanks everyone, we have never been before. This was going to be the first year in several years that we weren't able to get to Vegas. And when the offer came, we thought this might be something different to try. We are both 50, and not party people at all. I appreciate the answers. We might just give them a call and see what they say.
