I am taking the whole family out on March 9-12. Had free nights for every cet prop. except Caesars. Booked the flamingo in a fab luxury room with a view for the comped room. When I booked, the friends and family rate was about $75 for the other room for 3 nights. I didn't book to make sure that's where we wanted to stay, but when I called today to book it was about $115 for the other room. Do the F + F rates go down, or just keep jumping up? If I book now and it goes down would they tell me the truth and change to the lower rate? Thanks!

im not sure what yor saying but rates change daily.

if you can cancel always book the room you can always chage it later if the price drops.ive seen rates change a few times in one day

im booked for october now and im doing the wait and see if anything better opens up

Yea I get that rates change all the time. I was just wondering, since they don't show you the friends and family rate, if they would actually tell me if the rate drops. It would be pretty easy for them to just tell me that it hasn't changed or it's higher than when I booked.

Just like any other rate - goes up and down.
And, just like any other booking, they are not going to call and tell you the rate changed.
And, just like any other rate, you can keep checking (via a fake booking) to see if the rate has changed.

Right, but it's a little different with a friends and family rate since it isn't posted anywhere. Rate went down by $65 in an hour when I called.

I'm mostly and MGM/Mlife person so pardon my ignorance.

I was thinking of taking a comped room from the Flamingo. Can I book a room for my friend with this offer as well as my own comped room?

Since there is zero advantage in booking it in your name, why not just book it in his name?
