I have 4 free nights at Cromwell in the form of friends and family coupons. In the past we have had no problem using them anytime, even on busy weekends.

I called and am told the whole month of August is blocked out, pretty much makes them worthless.

Anyone else try to use them this year?

I gave one to a friend that had booked a weekend in August, but it's at Caesars. It's all at the discretion of the hotel. It does or should say on the bottom that blackout dates do apply. But blacking out a whole month is kind of ridiculous. Have you tried calling again? Maybe it was the rep you spoke to. Never hurts to call again and ask. And if that is really the case, you can always call your host and see if he/she can book a room using that coupon for you.

Yea, sometimes those blackout dates are a little out of whack. But you have to remember, Cromwell is a considered a "boutique" hotel, so their room inventory might be limited.

Not only that, but the Cromwell is a "tiny" hotel compared to other CET properties.

Changed from Venetian to Wynn, hope Wynn has better amenity kits
