I just booked a trip and i receive $4000 in freeplay on my arrival. Is this only valid for 1 machine or is there a way i can use this for multiple machines?

I have never had an offer of 4 grand in free play. But in my experience CET free play offers require you to go to the cashier who hands you the free play in machine readable bills the size of currency but colored white. The biggest “bill” I have seen is $100 free play. So presumably you will be handed 40 of them which you can insert into any variety of machines you like.

You need to First insert your players Card in the machine to access the free play

Yup. This is how it worked for me every time in Vegas. My local CET just has it loaded on my card. I activate and I play. I can download how much, or little, into most any machine.

In Vegas, you have to check in 1st. THEN go to the TR desk and tell them you need to activate the offer. THEN they give you a slip to take to the cashier cage. THEN either they walk you there (for bigger amounts) or just point to where you need to go to. THEN the cage takes the slip, makes you sign it, THEN they ask you how you want it. The funny money works just like real money in most every machine, with the caveat that you need your card inserted in order to use it and they supposedly expire within 48 hours or something.

Needless to say, it is a huge pain in the ass to actually get. On the plus side, if I recall correctly, I did earn points on their free play. Which I have never seen anywhere else.

For Vegas, I have always been able to get my "Funny Money" right at the TR desk. (never had to go thru hoops of back and forth between the TR desk and the cashier). I will say the most I have ever received was $250 in Free play so maybe that is why I don't have to bother with the cashier.

At my Local casino it is loaded right on to the card and like Grid said, I just download the amount I want to that machine.

Yep.. you get the funny money tickets to put in machines. And, I am not sure about Vegas, but at some CET casinos, you can actually hit the TITO button and you will get one ticket for any cash you have "won", and another ticket for whatever is left on the freeplay. I know I can do that in some casinos, but maybe not in Vegas.

Not a big deal either way. I would sometimes use a small ticket or TITO on a new machine before putting in the $100 ticket just in case I did not want to play that machine. Sometimes that happens.

Meanwhile - how much do you play that yo got $4,000 in freeplay - and this is the first time you ever got freeplay?

I think a nice pair of khakis may be they key to increased freeplay ;)

    Not quite enough.
For a man, if you don’t wear a Tom Ford, or a Dolce Cabbana suit or the like, you will be looked down by the hosts, they know it.

I've never gotten anywhere this amount, but you have the option of getting them for machines or table games, and the cashier can't control the denominations. For table games, they are only good for even money bets. I only play table games, so I use mine like chips, right on the craps pass line. If the game manager knows you, they might let you get paid 6-5 or 3-2 on a blackjack, or in a craps field bet where the 2 or 12 pays double. I don't know if you can get part of your free play for machines and part for machines. I assume that once you have them, you can convert them to the other.

I'm pretty sure they have bigger bills than the $100s, I think $500s and $1000s. The problem is if you have to cash out it only dispenses what you've already played through at the time. You can tell when you start getting tier points. BTW, I'm a 7* and I've never gotten anywhere near $4K so you must be putting through lots of cash.

I may be wrong and excuse me if i am but if someone has played enough to get 4k in freeplay i am sure they would be familiar on how it works. Im calling troll until shown otherwise.

You can either go to the cage to redeem the FP in the denominations you want ($5, $10, $20, $50, $100, $500). You can then play in different machines as you choose and cash out AFTER cycling the original amount of FP that you put in. I believe now, most if not all the TR properties, you can use the TR app and load the FP that way. It's fairly easy and less hassle than going to the cage.

Thank you for all the details. I appreciate the tips. To answer your question, I went to vegas 1 time in December 2017. I was there for about 34 hours and played non stop at Planet Hollywood in the high limit room for about 20 hours of that 34 hours. I brought with me $4500. Won a total of 5 jackpots ranging from 1500-4400 while there. Left with nothing, but a vip host and a slew of offers to come back. In fact they gave me a $1100/nght suite this time even! In December when i went and climbed from 0 reward points to about 43000 points in that 34 hours, they did comp my room, flight and all my food, but no freeplay. I had over 200k coin in they said.

Ive received freeplay offers consistently, ive just never gone back to vegas since December.

wow, that's an amazing offer! Making $4500 last that long in high limit room seems tough - unless you are playing $5 VP or the like. I've blown more than that in a long weekend and get shitty offers - now I know the secret!

    I believe it..
We went as first time CET members a few years ago and did DIAD (half slots half VP) and we got $3000 freeplay.
CET has some wild ass algorithms for new players that come in heavy.

You and your girlfriend have a good time out there. That freeplay will go fast. I always do FP just the same as playing cash from my pocket. It just extends your play for the trip. On a related note, your GF is gonna think that is FREE money and you should give her lots of it to play. Just sayin..... after all, would you just give her 10 or 20 hundred dollar bills to go play?
