CET Derby Day Party

I just received an offer to attend the CET Kentucky Derby party. Has anyone attended before? Where are they typically held (no location noted on offer)? Is it a fun, festive event? Looks like open bar and buffet, at least.

I went last year for the first time. And actually going this year as well. It's a fun party. (Not quite as fun as the superbowl party, but I really enjoyed it). Last year I attended the party at Flamingo. I believe that is where my invite is for this year as well. My sister is going and when she booked it they told her, it was at Bally's. She is staying at Flamingo. So, different partys?
And yes there is open bar. And buffet. There is some drawings. Hat contest and some other contests as well. Great way to spend a couple hours.

Instead of doing that, I'm going to the Kentucky Derby (and Kentucky Oaks) in May. As in going to Louisville and attending. Yes, I know this isn't very helpful, but I'm just super excited.
