I get a lot of the concert offers too Newmans and agree, it's not a great offer if the host would comp the tix anway; same with the food or resort credit offers. Plus, if I am traveling solo an offer for two comped tix is wasted when I just need one anyway.

My first two nights for this upcoming are at Caesars and I'm going to TRY and be disciplined and set a loss limit at Caesars and preserve most of my bankroll for Encore. I should have just double booked and tried for at least 5 nights at Encore and just stayed at Caesars for my arrival night but I did want to workout and take advantage of Qua for my first and second mornings in Vegas. These are First World problems for sure but ARGH CET! It would be REALLY nice to win some serious free play at the Cromwell tourney this weekend. Here's hoping.

I know they're still giving SOME people the booster offers! I wonder why all three of us (me, you, and newmans) aren't getting them anymore. We're all 7 Stars, you would think they would want to entice us into the casino. It's just ridiculous. I've been going twice a month for a while now and I'm moving the majority of my play to Cosmopolitan, where I get more than CET gives me AND they have no problem comping off charges on the back end without taking my points. I'm also playing at Four Queens with their excellent offers based on SO little play AND their great comps AND cash back (I just won't stay there). I've recently played at Red Rock, Rampart, and Tropicana and plan to use those places more often. CET is taking a back seat now. They somehow think they're being competitive, but they're not. I feel no more loyalty to them at all.

I wish you wonderful luck in the tourney at Cromwell and in the casinos!

Resurrecting this thread. I DID recently receive a booster off for $500 in free play in November and $500 in free play in December. I've booked them both!

I also JUST received a NYE offer. For Caesars it's a NYE party and brunch an no free play. There's no mention of a concert. If I stay at Harrah's or Flamingo, however, there's a party (probably not as nice but who cares) and brunch but I ALSO get $450 in free play. Given that I'll be solo NYE I'm thinking about staying at Flamingo and getting the free play.

I was able to book my booster free play in December and attend GGWU by arriving on the Saturday.

Sweet Newmans! Question for you and other CET folks. So, I'll be in Vegas for about 8 days at the end of the year for my annual Christmas to New Years trip. I have three offers and can only book two. I'm double booking one with Encore and staying at Encore and then when I check out of Encore using the second CET offer.

    Here are three options:

    1. 150K slot tournament. $25k in casino play is top prize and $100 is the lowest prize but there are 500 prizes. I only get $40 in casino play with the offer but a shot at some decent prizes of $1000+ in free play.
    2. $500 Casino Booster -- Can use at any CET property from December 1st through December 29th
    3. NYE Offer -- Flamingo/Harrah's (NYE Dinner and New Years Day Brunch + 450 in Free Play) OR Caesars NYE Party/Ariana Grande + Brunch) or Paris/Bally's (NYE Party/Entertainment tbd and Brunch)

I had booked 1 and 2 some time ago but now with the NYE offer I'm thinking about booking #2 ($500 free play casino booster) and staying at Flamingo (#3) to get the $450 in free play. I much prefer Caesars but I'll be in Vegas solo on NYE (DBueler leaves the day before) so a party and Ariana is kind of wasted on me. I haven't stayed in Flamingo in years and DBueler has had multiple bad experiences there but I'm hoping that since I am 7* that I can get a good room with a great view. My favorite masseuse is at Flamingo as well. I just hung up with CET and the person on the phone said the New Year's Day brunch that the Flamingo will host will be in the Vortex in the Linq. Not sure where that is but sounds cool.

If I could buy into the slot tournament I would easily just nix the tournament offer and buy in but the CET person with whom I just spoke said he didn't see where I could buy into the tournament.

Okay, I think I'm leaning towards the Flamingo (so doing #2 and #3 and scrapping the slot tournament) but thoughts appreciated from everyone! Thank you!

I've been in quite a few of those slot tournaments. The most I've ever won was $100. If it were me, I'd do 2 and 3 (stay at a Flamingo and take the free play. Contact your host to make sure you get a decent room/suite at Flamingo. I think you can only buy your way into a winterfest or summerfest tournament. At least in the past I was able to.

I'm there 5 nights.... So leaving Thursday. I couldn't get the free play if I came in on Friday. It worked checking in on Saturday.

I received November/December booster offer of $625 per month (booked them) and just received the NYE offers the other day. I also got $450 free play at Harrah's, Rio, and Flamingo. I'd take that any day over Ariana Grande, but I'm not going for NYE.

My November/December booster offer was $200 FP/$100 RC. I also got the new years eve invite, which gave me 5 free nights anywhere with a party included. I'm currently booked on a $100 FP/$50 RC for January but I'm hoping it increases a little bit compared to what I got offered for Nov/Dec since what I'm currently booked on was an offer for all of 2016, not month specific. So hopefully when January offers start rolling in I can update my reservation with something a little better
