    Hi all,

Curious to know how if anyone has experience re: how quickly and significantly offers are updated for CET with a major increase to what your normal ADT is? Ex - I normally earn 200-500 TCs per day at my local, now I earn 5000 TCs in a day from mostly playing video poker.

    Thanks!

The Calendar updates pretty quickly.. I have seen it change as quick as the next day.
Offers tend to be much slower to react but I have seen it take anywhere from 2 weeks - 2.5 months.
I am guessing they do the calculation at set times and it just depends on when it lands vs when you played.

From my experience, it's the same as @Guy_ stated. Typically offers update around each quarter or a little less depending on the market I believe (ie; Vegas, Reno, AC, etc).

My host tells me ADT comp offers are calculated monthly using a 3 month moving average.

Reports I have seen here often indicate comp rooms update rather quickly. Offers take longer.

And, I doubt that DIAD bonus points, or any bonus points for that matter count towards anything. After all, everything is tied to play - not RCs.

*TCs -- but yeah what you said...

Also, from my experience, Slot Players earning that many points get way more from CET than VP players. JS.

Definitely agree. it is all based on your ADT.
that said.. going from 500 tier credits to 5000 in a day is a pretty big jump even if you dont look at the tier advancement.

I agree with people who say the regular Availability Calendar reacts fast, I've seen that.

Packaged offers take longer. I'd agree with @Emerson 's quote about them using moving averages, except I think I would say that If you do a trip in Month A and then no trips in months B, C, D, and E, you don't get stuck with a zero for those months, your play level from Month A keeps carrying over over until you do another trip.

And I would say I've seen the packaged offers rejuvenate faster than they go down.

Example: I half-played on a trip to PH. It took a couple of months, but then my throw-ins got successively lower each offer cycle. Then I did a trip at my normal level, it took a couple of months, but after that, it didn't take several cycles for the throw-ins to gradually go back up, BOOM, they went from almost-nothing right back to the regular amount.

If you're on a regular schedule, and get offers that go way out, you can take advantage of that - book your next trip before you leave for the current one. If your play goes down, you're locked in already for the next trip. If your play goes up and you get a better offer, you can rebook.

If you earn 5,000 tier credits (without the bonus included) in 1 day you will earn diamond status, however your comp's won't instantly dramatically increase. As the other posters have said, they look at your ADT over several trips as well as the THEO or theoretical loss. This THEO is based on the game, so for instance if you earned it on Jacks or Better Video poker, your THEO is much lower than if you played triple double.

You didn't mention which "local" you play at and yes, it does make a difference. There is a good chance you will see your offers increase at your local casino (ie free rooms, reel rewards/free play, etc). Your vegas comp's will also increase, but most of your comp's will be for your home casino.

Well... I went to CW Today and put in 5000 TCs, so I’ll provide an update for those curious when my new offers come in.

Fyi, full pay TDB has a lower theo (0.42%) than full pay JoB (0.46%). But either full pay game will give poor comp rates if you can even find them available at CET properties. They do exist in some places, but often with reduced tier credits.

Yeah I ended up playing 8/6 JOB at $5/credit ($25 a spin) in HL at CW. Ran like the sun and ended up down only $700. Was able to do it in two and a half hours.

That's good for a non-royal session! I'd expect the average loss without a royal on that game to be about $1800. Now hopefully the future comps will make up for that $700 loss!

Don’t know CW, but some (in fact most) local casinos use total theo over a period such as 6 months to gauge your comp level, not ADT.
You won’t get big boost by playing big in one day.

I hit 5 quads in the span of 2,000 hands. Pretty unreal.. had 4 to a royal 3 different occasions too. I was hoping to lose less than $1,500, so it worked out. I just couldn’t pass up the RC multiplier day coupled with the February 2x TC bonus.

    actually it depends.
when i got 5,000 points in one day i had not played at a tr property in over 6 months so my offers got way better. I eneded up using something like 50 free nights of rooms in vegas and 20 in ac before they cut me off.
i did it all on 9/6 job.

now had i played at their properties a lot in the prior 6 months my adt wouldn't have gone up much and i would not have gotten as much of a jump in offers.

Yes, it depends. That 5,000 in one day may have gotten their attention. But, I would tend to guess you played on visits after that at a reasonable clip. No way you got 50 nights without putting in play on most visits. And, guessing your play started going downhill towards the end when you got cut off.

no i gave them ZERO action save for a little poker at ceasars. i earned maybe 300 tier credits from poker.

but what i did was right away book 25 nights in vegas, five different weeks. i then booked 20 nights in ac.
as i would check out of a room in vegas i would add another week.
online you can only book 3 stays at once but when you call up you can book 5 and sometimes 6 if you get the right person.
ocassionally would even get someone who would let me book extra nights without the gap you're supposed to need in resverations.

after the second time i checked out in vegas my comps disapeered. so now i was up to about 35 nights.

some time went by and despite giving them zero action i had some more comp offers pop up for late nov and early december last year.

once again my comp offers have disapeared.
