For the last.... 8 or 9 years, I used to have CET comps at the lower tier hotels. The ones I could count on were Flamingo, Harrah's, Linq, and *ESPECIALLY* the Rio. Now and then, I'll have Paris and Planet Hollywood as well.

Today, I checked my comps and there are none... not even one night. Not even the Rio. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? I am gold (with 622 points + 125 bonus in September). I've never *ever* had a problem getting comps if I needed them on weekdays.

Did CET cut me off? I gave them good play back in June at the Flamingo as well as the occasional visit at Harrah's in Joliet. I wonder if they are scaling back on comps and/or because of the merger?

This is pretty upsetting. I have not stayed at a CET hotel in a couple years, but always considered them my fallback plan if I needed it. I do know I had comps available for June (I checked the day before my trip) and few months after (I was exploring a weekend trip in October).

Also, there have been times when I'd go 5 months without a casino visit (always going there just to keep the points active). One year, I finished with like 76 tier credits, and guess what? I still had comps. This was about four years ago. The following year, I hit Platinum. So it was not too long ago that I was once Platinum.

Some times comps periodically are greatly reduced/disappear with CET for no discernable reason. I would check back daily if I were you. You definitely shouldn't expect great comps at your level of play. Also, CET said that they were going to be tightening comps somewhat. If you check back often over the next few weeks and still don't have any comps, then you may be proof of that statement.

    Good Luck!

That would suck. My level of play is about the same as it has been for years. I achieved Platinum only because of the Quest for Rewards. 25 points for playing tables, 25 for slots, plus those 25 points (so basically, 50 for each of those), then 25 bonus for doing BOTH.... My buddy and I did every single hotel on the strip for the Quest (including Rio) and I was able to get over 1500k tier credits for that... there was a 200 tier credit bonus for something. Man, that was an AMAZING quest. they havent done anything like that since.

I just checked mine and I have the same comps I usually do. The site does glitch once in a while, so I would definitely check back. But as Fasbman said, it may be a cut back because you haven't been there in quite a while. Do you at least see pricing with some kind of discount, or do you see nothing? If nothing at all, I would definitely keep checking. Also check in the app as well. Sometimes when the website is not showing correctly the app still will.

Seems to be no discounts (that I know of). I was just there in June and I've gone 5 months without visits and still had comps. Just strange to be cut off :( Guess I'll have to visit the casino a little more... it's only 5 minutes from work!

Doesn't sound right to me. I looked at my offers for December (fingers crossed) and they have not changed....most dates comped except for CP/Cromwell/Nobu/some properties on weekends, and we only give them minimal play. My wife and I play at MLife propertities, Wynncore, Venetian, Cosmo, Stations, Downtown, and other off strip properties....we spread our losses throughout Las Vegas, and don't concentrate our play on generating comps. :p. I'm only gold, so I hope your offers reappear. Cheers!

They vary by the phase of the moon. No pattern, really, no matter how much I play or do not, or seemingly anything.

It might be 1500 tc for two quests that year. I'll see if I can dig it up

    Of course. Calendar view

It was a lot more than that apparently. The quests back in 2017 were amazing and easy way to get platinum and even diamond if you tried hard enough

Thanks buddy. I hope this is just a glitch. Cet has always been my fallback plan and planning 2 or 3 trips a year is easy because I felt secure. No Boyd? No problem I'll stay at MGM. No comps on my dates? There's always cet. Hasn't gotten to that point yet but still....

The Quests don't really matter here. Neither does level (gold, platinum, diamond, SS). They don't have anything to do with comps.

I definitely see tightening in locals and Vegas.

Local CETs were throwing free play & food. Now for the most part nothing. Still get descent offers from Windsor, but they may be rebuilding customer base from when they had the shutdown.

Vegas CET was throwing serious free play, food, and rooms on any day. Now just rooms on some days. Especially at the nicer places. Concert tickets available for people I don’t want to see.

Obviously they have some expectation of play that I’m not hitting. Would be nice if we were able to see their target. I have a feeling the bean counters there do a ROI for comps they give out.

At the end of the day, I’m not terribly pissed though. Chasing offers with play is a losing proposition. If they give nice offers, great. If not, there are a lot of other options.

Not a serious end of the world for me but my frequent trips are due to comps. Without them, they are less likely to happen. Again not the end of the world.

I’m kinda amazed you get comped nights at all with only 622 points. That’s very little play.

That's only so far this year. I usually finish the year with 2k points. The first half of the year, I am basing it all on Vegas. Second half of the year (when it is back to work), I don't do Vegas and I will do the local Harrah's

Don't feel too hard done by.
I have been Seven Stars for 3 years and have 139,238 TCs this year.
From now till the end of December on my Calendar I have Aug 19+20 comped at The Rio and that is it for all of Vegas for the next 5 months.
