Any idea what they actually do? Reading a few of the past threads I'm thinking that he might be just a marketing guy. I get a voice mail every few months asking to call a guy back. He shows as my host in the CET app but I don't have an actual host (probably never will be important enough to get one). I don't really play enough to warrant anything on the back end and I book my offers online so I'm not sure what they can even do for me.

I think that's about 100% accurate. It's just a marketing layer in between host level and standard offer emails. I get an email from a marketing rep every couple of months or so, they're not really personalized (other than using my name at the beginning). I think I only ever got one call from one, but that might depend on how often you go and where you live.

I don't think they can do anything you can't do yourself. Some people prefer the direct contact.

Yup, just sales people in the CET Las Vegas corporate office.
Strangely enough they usually have more technical skills than other CET employees.

I recently had a good exchange with a CET Casino Account Executive. I could type endlessly to explain, but the basics will work, when I booked for 2 of us we couldn't get what we wanted to work - she took care of it all. Much appreciated her help

Used an executive host for my trip a couple of weeks ago to modify my booking. Tickets for the Who and 3 night stay offer, I needed it converted to four nights. Not really a big deal for her to do, imo. It was another 24 hours of my money for CET in the casino. She offered to help with any dinner resi's, I can handle that myself. Did inquire about upgrading my room from Burgundy Eiffel view at Paris to suite, that did not happen. Huge convention at Paris during my stay, don't fault her for that. Will stick to booking thru the calendar for the future.

Ok cool. It sounds like I'll be just the same regardless so I may as well stick with booking what I need online.

Yeah that's a good example of an exception to the "do it yourself" thing. It probably should be amended to "they can't do anything you can't do yourself or by calling."

Before Hunter was assigned as our host we had a marketing rep in Vegas and she could get us a strip Suite at Planet Hollywood but that was as far as she could go. With Hunter we were set up in a Panorama Ste and on new years had a Blvd Suite very nice. The executive host has much more discretion but still only 1/2 of what they used to have................Rick

This could be who we were contacted by.....which would make sense.
We haven't been to Vegas since 2015 and we got a call about 6 months ago when we were in the process of buying our home (so Vegas was out of the picture for a while)
She tells my husband she's going to be Jos contact now with CET and to let her know when we planned to go to Vegas next. He said thanks but not even on our radar right now.
FF to last month, i called to speak with the host on duty at Harrahs, they asked who I was trying to reach, I said I wasn't sure her name but we have been contacted a few months ago & wanted to make a reservation--she looks and sees no host currently attached to our accounts.

Shouldn't there be record of who WAS our host at one point in time???

I don't believe so - but no harm in asking. I was told it would cost $70 for PH and would be charged to room.

Not a front end comp but they will get you a limo and take it off at the end if your play warrants it.
