I’m interested in hiring a car service for our next race involved vegas trip. Does anyone have any experience with NHRA races or other events that may run past the expected end time and how that works? I really have no idea and am wondering do you book an hour in the morning to bring us there and a couple + hours in the afternoon assuming they may have to wait?

Also interested into what expected costs may be assuming the COVID type car troubles have ended. Thinking of April and not this October’s race.

I'm interested too. I might be there this fall for NHRA & SEMA. I'll probably be solo and $60 taxis each way suck. In the past I thought I saw a reasonable bus service but I can't remember if it was NHRA or NASCAR weekend.

Some casinos offer packages, comped or otherwise, that includes a limo or party bus to the races. Some places that do this will allow anyone to ride along for a fee. I'd call the host offices for casinos where you'd like to stay or have a spending history, and ask if they will offer what you're looking for.

I have not used a service before. I have always rented something. From what I understand most casinos want $50 per day to get you there. Your best to call I would think

Can't speak for Vegas specifically, but when I have booked car service pickups for events like this, I always estimate the finish time and then add extra time to it, say 30 minutes. If you book them to pick you up too early and they have to wait for you, you will probably get charged for the waiting time if it's significant. Best bet is to call the car services and find out what their policies are, and if this is an annual event (not counting pandemic years, of course), the company may already have an idea of what time the event finishes.
