    Glad I saw this thread. We have a car rental in Vegas next month - 3 days for $126 with Thrifty - got it today for $73.00.

    Its always good to keep checking.. even if you have AutoSlash. I was able to get a pickup truck on my last trip to LAX for cheaper than an economy car!

    Just checked my Costco booking for May, went down $35 and still have 3 months to go. Took about 30 seconds to cancel and rebook.

    Excellent reminder! For my May trip, I originally booked through Costco then rebooked and saved $80 for a weeklong trip in a luxury car ($350 to $270).

    I do this (keep rechecking the rates) all the time and quite often keep saving more money each time. This thread reminded me to recheck on a trip later this month and I just rebooked two car reservations and saved about $50. I usually use CarRentalSavers.com to check all companies at once.
