Had to remove the countdown clock. Wife and I decided that we need to upgrade some things around the house (exterior paint, repave drive way etc.) as we want to move into a bigger place late 2005 or early 2006, plus she needs a new car too. I was so bummed I haven't read any posts for about two weeks. Then the amnesia lifted and I remembered that I'm 5 minutes away from 5 local casinos. They will have to do until we can get to Vegas. ;)
 
Bummer double x. There's nothing worse than rational thinking to ruin a Vegas trip. Good luck on the house.
 
I sympathize, abner. We've redone pretty much everything except the kitchen, and I think that's on the docket for '05.
 
I feel your pain abner. We have had plans for MM and our anniversary to head to Vegas but we also are thinking of canceling the plans. We live in the Bay Area & the prices to live here are outrageous. My honey is thinking that maybe we should head to SF for the anniversary instead of spening the $$ in Vegas! That way we can add it to our piggy bank (you know the " one day we will buy " something" savings" ) OUCH! Man doesn't reality suck! It dosen't look like we will be heading there any time soon either :(
