I originally redeemed a reward and booked the Excalibur. I then decided to cancel assuming I could redeem another reward with additional points I accumulated the past few days.I wanted to stay at New York New York. I canceled my reservation on Mlife and when I went to redeem for New York New York it says I already have a redeemed room in my wallet. Am I out of luck here? I understand I was going to lose the original points I just assumed by accumulating more I'd be fine. Anyone else here run into this issue?

Yeah, I think you might be out of luck for this trip.

If you cancel a booked room, you're out the points and the reward, and restrictions only allow you one booked room a trip via myVegas. You could try to contact them, explain what you did, and see if they could reverse something to let you book the NYNY room, but I definitely wouldn't count on that.

Contact support and they will clear out the Excailbur reward for you so you can book another room.

I did the same thing last summer. Vegas superfan is right -- I e-mailed support and they took care of it --- all through e-mails. You won't get the points back on the reward for the night you cancelled.
