Went to Windsor for the long Easter Weekend to use my Aspirations I trip. Got a copy of my bill before the room charges where comped off. For a Forum Tower luxury king room the room rate was $95 on Thurs and $130 for Fri/Sat. This is in CAD and they use the casino floor exchange rate to convert the CAD to USD.

Also got comp 2 tickets to Adam Sandler's Here Comes the Funny Tour, found it sort of boring and the crowd seemed to agree with their relative quietness. The biggest excitement happened when a young guy in only his underwear jump on stage with Adam and security did nothing.

Windsor is doing a good job of replacing many of their slots with newer machines. So if you like penny slots it is a good place to go.

Ate at Nero's and Artist Cafe and really like the sandwiches and the steak and eggs at the Cafe. The Thursday night Seafood platter for 2 at Nero's was only so so. Johnny Rockets was dead, they closed the Starbuck's so this restaurant may be next.

This may be sexist, but the young eye candy on Fri/Sat night is surprising good for a regional casino and many dress to impress.

They probably wouldn't do much if it was just a brief interruption! :D

Thanks for the observations and comments regarding your experience there!

I was there this weekend as well.
I also had comped tickets to Adam Sandler. I found the show entertaining but not something I would go to twice (or recommend highly to people).
The person going on stage in his underwear I am pretty sure was actually part of the show as they used it as part of the Canadians are always polite stigma.. ' The security guy said to him "I would like you to come with me off the stage if that's ok" to him.

I also found the eye candy pretty decent :)

I really like the Windsor casino overall.

We are huge fans of Caesars Windsor, number one with us is that it is a nonsmoking casino. Nero's has some of the best steaks in the metro Detroit region, we have not had a bad meal there. The Artist Cafe is a nice breakfast/sandwich shop. This is our home casino and we live 1 1/2 hours away. Will be going 2 times next month, glad you enjoyed it......................Rick

We used to go to Windsor a lot, but then Horseshoe Cleveland opened and it was 2 1/2 hour closer and no border crossing which can always be a gamble on wait times. We will be back in June to see ZZ Top. We crossed the border 4 times this trip and never waited more than 10 minutes, which made of us winners to start. One negative for us is the closing of I-75 S for the next few years.

The problem we have with the boarder is getting back in the US, was usually 50 questions, but the last couple of times it has been great. Yea 75 is going to be a mess but it needs work so bad as does I-94 Detroit to Chicago. Has Jack Cleveland put any better VP games in since they left CET. I like Dan Gilbert a lot he has done great things to Cleveland and Detroit.
