Looks like you were dinged for 3-4% going in. What was the exchange rate converting back?
They do get you both ways...
Spot price of the exchange rate was supposed to be 1.32
Bought at 1.28 going from USD to CAD
I thought I sold at 1.33 going from CAD to USD
Some quick math says if you went back and forth at those buy/sell prices, you would lose about 3.75% of your money in the process
Thax for TR. I was there Saturday night too for the cruise certificate. I think the back up was due to Monday August 5th being a Canadian Holiday. I had a 55 minute tunnel wait, i left asap after getting my cruise.
The one thing I do not like was the unpredictable waits between Detroit and Windsor. Things were quite different to me 30 years ago when I was a student at University of Michigan and we wanted to visit Ontario and our only concern was paying toll on the bridge or tunnel.
Your gambling loss to me is inconsequential given the activities you enjoyed at Ceasars Windsor. Thanks for the report.
I cross everyday and usually it is ok but I get your unpredictable concerns. The new bridge being build Open 2024 I think will improve that.
I agree that it annoys me that there is no wifi on the casino floor.
I always stay in Forum (adult) tower and I have discovered that the wifi is stronger the closer you are to the elevator.
I know you mean 2024 for the new bridge
