    My Trip Report

Feel bad about actually posting a trip report, but might contain some useful info......

I'd say about sixty percent were wearing masks. To enter the casino, they scanned your DL, they took your temp in a walk through device that reminded me of a metal detector, then they took your picture- for which you had to remove your mask.

Table games had mask wearers, but social distancing- nope. Lotsa slots shut off though. Seemed anecdotally to be tighter than I remember.

Only one eatery open during the week, three including Binion's Steak House over weekend. We ended up leaving early because there is only so much "grill" food I desire. I got my freebies, they got their money.

It WAS very weird playing through a face shield and constantly sanitizing my hands. I also sprayed the machine front with alcohol before I played.

I really have no great desire to go back until more stuff opens up. Diamond(Laurel) Lounge open, but empty. I was able to go on their terrace and have a couple cigars in total seclusion- best part of trip!

Thanks for the report! I'm wanting to plan a trip there for July sometime. But for a 3 hour drive I like to stay 2 nights. I wasn't sure what food options would be like for 2 nights, and it doesn't sound great.

Over weekend the grill and Homestyle and Binion's open. Mexican, Asian and Pizza place closed. Pizza place has not even opened at all, but ready to go. So for two nights during the week you'll have a bit more choice.

Headed there for 3 nights next month... hoping more eateries will be opened by then but doubtful. Thanks for the heads up. At very worst, I can at least use the pool. Really wish there was more in the area instead of having to drive 20 mins to Louisville

I stayed there 2 nights the end of July. It was a Wed and Thurs night. It got fairly busy at times but the only food places open was The Grill and the Atrium Cafe in the hotel. This made for a long wait at busy eating times.
The steakhouse was only open Friday Saturday Sunday. I was hoping to eat there but that didn't work out either.
