Good evening all,

I've got a room booked at CP for a Friend's bday. Between both of our players cards, we've essentially got a free base room in any of their towers (including a Nobu Deluxe). I booked a Palace tower petite suite because...hey, a suite for free, but also I liked the idea of having 2 toilets. I stayed in a fountain view Augustus room last trip, and really enjoyed it and if the petite suite sucks, wouldn't have a problem with it again. Has anyone stayed in the Palace petite suite? Is it worth staying in a lower tier tower to get a little bigger room (and a dedicated bathroom for #2s)? Should I check out another tower (Nobu or Octavius)? I'm a diamond member, so easy access to the diamond lounge in the Augustus tower is nice too (and it looks like the Palace tower is pretty far away). Any and all feedback is welcome!

We just came back from an early November trip and I wish I had asked this question prior to going. Go with the Augustus. The other rooms are really old and dated. Yes, they are seemingly bigger, but all of the space is in the bathrooms. I heard the rooms in Augustus are newer.

I've stayed in both towers. Of course, Augustus is very nice and newer. But there's nothing wrong with the Palace Tower.

We've had the Palace Petite Suite many times, most recently in September. It's not old and dated in my opinion. It just hasn't changed for a long time. It is a larger room with a larger living space. And having the two separate bathrooms is a huge plus. It's nice as a couple, but even better with just a friend. The 'his' bathroom has a separate commode room, as well as a nice sink with plenty of counter space. The 'hers' bathroom as a separate commode room that also has a drinking fountain in it(the French call it a bidet) as well as an over-sized jetted tub and large sink and counter space. And then there the large shower with multiple shower heads that connects the 2 bathrooms. You could fit 4 people in there if you're so inclined.

The Palace Tower is a bit of a hike from the front desk, but doesn't seem as bad after the first time you walk it.

Caesars will be renovating the Palace Tower rooms starting the first quarter of 2017. It should be one of their faster renovations, since the rooms don't have to be gutted. If you're going before then, I'd go with the Palace. If you're going after the renovations have started, I'd go with Augustus just to avoid the inconvenience and possible noise being in a tower where work was being done.
