Nobu rooms are very nice but are smaller. No tubs, but a huge shower area and the bathroom has 2 large deep bowl sinks. Furnishing and decor all have a Japanese theme and it's very well done, but again rooms are smaller so there's not much there besides the beds, TV and the bathroom (though most people don't really need much more in Vegas). Biggest problem besides the size is the lack of a view.
If you don't want to go that route, I'd recommend the Palace Premium Studios. They are considered a downgrade from Augustus but they are actually a little larger and nicer, they just don't have the fountain view.

Not stayed at Nobu, but friends did.
More private, separate check-in etc, but they felt it wasn't worth paying a premium for.
    Tried Paris?

I always liked the Palace Studio Suites. I would also try for the Augustus Studio which I never stayed in but like the 180 degree windows

I had the Augustus studio once. It’s different and cool. Ask for that

We stayed in an Augustus Studio in March. We really loved it and would be happy in it every time we stay at Caesars.

I want that room but I compromise with my partner since we stay usually for 5 nights at CP she wants her own bathroom so we get the Palace Studio Suite. If it were up to me we’d stay at Augustus Studio Suite. Having two bathrooms has paid off for both of us. Tough sharing a bathroom for 5 nights.

Hey BT! I was looking at those rooms and they seem to be available for my dates so I might ask for one of them at checkin. Do I remember reading that the Caesars drink service was pretty good towards the end of your trip? Any suggestions on your favorite machines there, it seemed like you were doing pretty good at that link machine @ .10 denom.

I wish our trips overlapped. Would love to play some Vp with you. Yes favorite machines I was doing well at the CP high limit room lightning link but another member was doing even better at the lightning link machines just outside the high limit room. I did even better at the Harrah’s high limit room however. Also you gotta get some good scotch at the Montecristo Cigar Bar next trip. Have them put your scotch in their smoker and you will thank me later lol

I'm not sure. I was thinking about it, but it's really probably going to just be a rerun of my last trip, lol. I'm heading out Wednesday after work with the first night @ The D because Cromwell originally wasn't going to be opening up until Thursday. I was then going to cancel The D and do the whole trip on the strip, but then found out that my FP is double right now @ The D, so I'm keeping it for the first night anyways and then over to Caesars.

Finally got the email. Got moved to a Palace Premium, so definitely an upgrade over Cromwell (at least room wise). I'll try my chances and see if they'll bump me to a little better room when I get there, but even if not, no complaints.

My reservation now says forum classic room, aren't those kind of the bottom rooms there?

Yes, very worst room in the place. (Still better than some of their cheaper places though)

If they're opener, I'll probably go.
If they're open at all, and I go to Luxor, good chance I go here too

It's all relative. It is the worst room at Caesars, but the room is still much better than the majority of the rooms at the other CET properties. It's smaller than the other Caesars rooms and has no tub, and the furniture is a bit dated. It's still a nicer bathroom than you would find at Harrahs or Flamingo. The biggest difference is it's still well kept, CET has had financial issues for years and you could see it at places like Bally's and Paris (not to mention Rio which used to be fantastic and is now dumpy) that need a touch of paint here and a little repair there but the work never got done, but what money they do spend has gone into Caesars. It's well kept throughout.
This weekend appears to be packed. Checking this weekend for the past month my available room types there has sunk from 24 to 12 though tonight, maybe because of the mask edict, it is now showing me 18 available room types. If you get there early in the day you still have a good shot at an upgrade. If you are checking in at night, enjoy your stay in the Forum tower.

Oh, I’m not arguing with you there, caesars is a nice property. I just think it’s weird that they would put me in that room when I’ve got an open comp calendar for that trip and could potentially book their more expensive rooms.

Rational thinking doesn’t always help when it comes to marketing at CET lol. It’s hit and miss

Given a choice of Forum or Nobu, I'd do Nobu every time and jump for joy. Except for the smaller size, Nobu rooms are among the best CET has in regular rooms. I'd like it even more right now, Nobu figures to be empty while Forum will be packed with everyone moving in from Bally's and Cromwell. I'm not a big fan of the hotel within a hotel concept, but Nobu is the exception for me since it is smack dead center in CP.
Though I feel your pain. I had an 1800 square foot suite comped at Ballys and now instead I'm looking at those damn fountains through Augustus again.I've been trying to get away from the fountains for years and someone in my group always has to see them. I finally got them to agree to Bally's since i had the suite and now this. The fountains are a great view the first time or 2 or 3, but after a while it's like watching water swirl in a sink or a toilet.

I was under the impression that Nobu was still closed. If its not, and they moved me to Forum, I'd take Nobu. You had me nervous and checking my reservation too! Still showed me in Octavius last night. I only stay at the Palace for the square footage and nice bathrooms, and forum has neither (and neither does Nobu, but at least it's much more recently renovated and has the neat Japanese theming/ gimmick). Their casino is notoriously tight and I take the compromise for the large nice rooms. I have to imagine though at your comp level they'll probably put you in something better at check-in.

Nobu opens on Thursday. That's why I said right now, even beyond room quality, in the time of Corona I'd jump on a room in a hotel that's been unoccupied for months and figures to be mostly empty versus in Forum which figures to be as crowded as Caesars allows it to be.

I would definitely try Nobu if I hadn't before. I understand the rooms are not spacious but quite nice.
