I’ve been seeing conflicting information about the lobby bar and wonder if anyone knows the real deal. Is it open or is it closed?

I know Caesars vp sucks, but nothing beats drinking espresso martinis watching the shit show that Caesars becomes on a Friday and Saturday night. Best people watching Ever!

    Thanks for any info.

They are supposedly building a new one to coincide with the new entrance. Absolutely one of the best people watching spots in town.

And with some of the crowds I’ve seen post covid it can get very interesting.

I wonder where all the hookers moved to.
This was their main hangout in CP.

In case it's closed does anyone know any other VP bars in the CET world that have the same vibe as the Caesars lobby bar? We love the dark, "sexy" setting with the lounge seating nearby. Ballys, Paris, Flamingo are definite "no" with their VP bars. Bound at Cromwell is similar but all the machines are $1 now.

I know it has that hooker reputation, but I honestly have only seen one or two in many trips. Was there the week of Final Four in 2019 and saw many hookers in the casino, but none at the bar. The bar lounge (not the VP) seemed to mostly be young and well dressed convention type people.

The remodel at CP is much more disruptive than I expected. Just walked through it and must say that even the center gambling area looked depressing to me. I like a nice ambience when gambling and this would bum me out if I had booked here.
