It's been 4+ years since my last trip, but I'm headed back in October and I have some free play at Caesars. I'll be using it for blackjack and if I remember correctly, it's use til you lose not just a 1 time play if you win...am I right or does my memory suck!? Also I forget what denominations I can get. $5, $10, $25 etc. can I split it up and do mostly $25 and the rest $10? Thanks for any answers and help!

It's 1 time play...win or lose. any denomination you wish at the cage. I'm a blackjack player and usually get my free play in machines because video poker seems to be luckier for me on that.

You keep it until you use it, you dont get to pick how you receive the free play. depending on the amount depends how you get it. good luck

To just have the correct info for anyone who cares, I got an email back from Caesars w the fine print details. "Voucher is a play until you lose voucher, valid only on even money bets". Score one for my memory! Unsure if every non Caesars properties are the same thing, but you can score some nice winnings if you get on a little blackjack run

I don't know what this means.

They always ask me whether I want machine vouchers or table play. The lowest freeplay offer I ever got was $25, and my guess is that the lowest denom is probably either $5 or $10, although if you have $500 in freeplay and ask for 100 x $5 vouchers you're going to get a dirty look.

You can ask for a mix of denom, I've done that.

They give you up to 10 vouchers, all the same denomination. In my experience, you can’t ask for what you want—you have to take what they give you. They play till they lose.

I'm not sure you are reading it correctly. From my understanding, you bet on BJ (or roulette or something) and your bet for $25 becomes $50 with a $25 match play. You win, you get paid as if you bet $50. And your voucher is taken. If you want to do the same, you need to give up another $25 voucher. I assume the "Until you lose" part comes in, if you let your money (already won) ride. IE, they take everything you then wagered, and not just your original bet.

I do not think you can keep using that original match play over and over again if you are on a hot streak. IE you win 5 times in a row, and you get credit for double the bet each time with the original match voucher. 5 match plays in a row (even if all winners) should cost you 5 match play vouchers. Not one.

Play until you lose means you keep getting paid off until you lose a hand.

Interesting. So if I have $250 in match play, and I use it all on my original $250 bet and go on a 10 win hot streak, I would have had the equivalent of $2,5000 in house money by the end of my run? I could keep winning and keep having double my actual money paid out until I lose? Maybe I should be taking match play instead of Free Play on the slots with my offers.

I have done Match play before, once at Golden Nugget on a mail offer and once at Borgata in AC on a MyVegas offer. Both times I had to go to the club desk, get a voucher, place that on the table with my matching wager and I won at the GN, and they paid me and took my voucher away. And I lost at Borgata, and they took my voucher away.

He is not talking about match plays, OP is talking about essentially promotional chips, which are now done in the form of paper vouchers. They do not require a match bet and play just a normal gaming chip with casino taking only if they lose and paying with a normal chip leaving the voucher for the next bet. This is the most common item used for "washing" promotional chips where players can bet on both Player and Banker in Baccarat and Pass and Don't Pass in Craps essentially ensuring at least a 50% conversion. IE ( 10 -$50 dollar promo chips/vouchers) Place 1 voucher each on Player and Banker - Player Wins - You receive $50 and keep your player wager for the next deal. You place a $50 voucher on banker and rinse and repeat until all vouchers are used. Casino prevention for this is the Bar 12 in Craps and Commission in Baccarat. My favorite place to use these chips is Pai Gow as they can last a long time. But again this is different from Match Play

Yes free play & match play are 2 totally different things. My last trip 4 years ago, I had free play that I used at bj. I'd take a $25 paper voucher and put it in my spot, sometimes alone, sometimes w a green chip. As long as I won, I could use or take back the voucher for a later hand. This is for Caesars, I don't know how mgm, Wynn etc does it. It gives you a shot at a nice bankroll w out having to put up your own $$, If you can go on a 3-4 hand win streak a couple of times.
