Went to the Forum Shops for the first time in a very long time last Sat., Aug. 31st. Was really dismayed to find a temporary wall around the reflecting pool. Apparently a bar will be constructed there. Rode the escalator up and saw plastic sheeting covering the entire area where the pool was. Really sad about this - thought it was one of the prettiest places on the strip. I guess I'd rather see that go than the fountains out front of Caesar's casino though.

Which one is the reflecting pool? Main floor by the curving escalators or the smaller thing with a water fall by the escalators taking you to the 3rd floor from the corridor.

    Aggravating...But not surprising.

One thing that's constant in all of Las Vegas is constant change.

not with CP, there are several True Food Kitchens around, we have one in NOLA

"True Food Kitchen is the brainchild of Dr. Andrew Weil, a former frequent guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show. Winfrey is an investor and sits on the chain’s board of directors"

I shouldn't have made a snotty remark about Oprah. She has no idea that a new True Food Kitchen is taking the place of something that I thought was a truly beautiful thing. I just told a friend of a friend that was coming out in August to make sure she checked it out.

Yes, been like that for months. Had no idea what was going on.

Not surprised anymore. Bathe in the memories, boys and girls.

Now, Just waiting for the day the Bellagio fountains are gutted to make room for a Popeyes that only sells its chicken sandwich and they never run out of ingredients.
