Another one bites the dust. Called SWA today and moved our mid May trip to Oct. That's five trips we have moved. We haven't been there since November and I'm antsy. The only good news is the fare went down by 2,000 points and our May non-stop flight was changed to two stops and 8 hours in duration.

I have two more to move to Fall once the calendar opens up on April 23rd. I sure hope things are semi-normal by then.

    Hi, Joe!

The minions are bummed that our Easter trip is off, but they know we'll be back!

I hope everything is going okay in your part of the state!

I hate to sound like Pollyanna but if we're all here, bug-free, chatting about Vegas or vegetarianism (aghast, never!), we're far better off than the vast vast majority of the world's population.

Joe—we went from May 13 to September-13. Didn’t want to do / redo and feel it might be ok by then.
I texted in March and everyone had the corona joke (well, not everyone, just those I contacted). I think their thinking was no way. Apparently their was a small crack and way made it in. . We had hoped for July but said no way given the facts.
Could be worse. We could be with @Ty going to the beaches in Georgia but then maybe just under the cabanas!! Worse than down to the last 100 in the day’s budget at noon.....:poke:

    Hopefully, finally !!!

It's probably for the best to be honest. I know people are going to bummed about cancelling trips but I think the semi-normal is back by the fall, more so than it would be by mid to late May if the casinos do even open in early-mid May. I think more than 9/11 or post the October 1 shootings, Vegas will def take on a different mood for a while when everything is open.

Let's try this Thanksgiving thing again

Hi Guys, our girls trip ( for over 30 years), is Sept 22-30, please reassure me that it’s going to be ok. I need it really badly, as most of us do. Stay safe. Oh, by the way, what’s the chances of betting on college/ pro football?

You should be OK then. But there are no guarantees. Could be about when this thing might boomerang back around again. If they're playing I'd assume you can bet.

Totally ditched our end of March, early April for obvious reasons. Feel your pain. I haven't rebooked anything yet but I am hoping late Sept, early Oct. Zero hit on the room and a 1 year credit on the flights so I'm not complaining.

At least you will be fully recovered by then from your fall back in December, if you are not already. It is good to hear from you!

Maybe not this year. Looking forward to 2021!

I moved my early May trip to early June and am suspecting this will need to change again. I'll hang on until early May before making a decision on this.

Our PM plotted up in the ICU now, and the FCO have just advised against any non essential travel indefinitely, too.

Hoping we'll all be ok for Xmas, the way this is going...

I mean if everything is still shut by December, that means the world has decided to maintain the status quo until a vaccine is ready. We will be in for probably a decade long depression which will suck tremendously.

Moved an April 30 - May 4 trip to memorial day weekend. Looking like I'll be rescheduling for July 4th weekend, perhaps.

Oh no, poorly worded by me. I wasn't meaning Vegas would be shut, and if it is, we're in even more trouble than it looks like now.

I have MS, so am in the 'vulnerable' list, and have been advised not to leave the house for 12 weeks, other than to see my specialists or for my infusions. I'll need two seats on the plane if we're still in lockdown come December :D

I still have a Vegas flight booked for this Saturday, I guess I should reschedule that and the Vegas to Austin, Austin to Atlanta flights.
@bubbakitty is the golf course still open?
