So my brother heard a rumor from someone at his work that recently went to Vegas in March. This guy claims a bucket of beer at the Mirage pool was $100. This can't be true. Anyone been to Mirage more recently can tell me what a bucket of beer at the pool cost? Thank you.

Depends on what you're getting, but the menu is available online with prices

$100 gets you 12 beers (or 11 seltzers apparently). A bucket of 6 is $55.

As far as Bucket of Beers goes, at least they are now giving you 6 instead of 5. Still Price Gouging!!

THIS is a reason why I ask for a tower close to the pool entrance and elevator. Leave the pool, in my room quickly, drink a beer or two, go back.

FWIW, when I stayed at the Mirage 3 years ago, they allowed me to bring two beers in. My tower was also right by the pool entrance. So, it was extremely easy for me to drink two beers, get two more from the room.

Not sure if this still works today though.

I mean one of those beers is free (11 bucks a beer if buying singles) so is it really price gouging if you drink the free one... I mean that's 0 dollars :goofy:
