I’m getting ready to buy Bruno Mars tickets for September and I’m looking in the 303 and 305 section. But I’m curios what the GVP is on the seating chart? Should I stay away from that area? Thanks

Is it true that they lockup your cell phone before the start of the show?

VP means VIP Banquette seating. G is the row. They are going to be in the front row of a section (305 is split into two areas, there's a horizontal aisle between F and G). No need to stay away from them except the cost.

I think I saw where some performers require that you lock your phone in a bag before you go in, not sure if Bruno Mars was one of them.

I've seen the no cell phone requirements - a comedian playing locally had the information posted clearly on the Arts Center ticket site - either leave the phone at home/in your car, or, if you bring it - it's locked up upon entry to the building and you get it back at the end.....I've seen it for other Vegas shows too but not remembering specifics off the top of my head.

I wish more places would prohibit use of cell phones. It is so annoying when the person in front of you feels the need to hold their phone up and video the entire show.

Not like anyone wants to watch it anyways.

I've never come across taking your phone off you, I remember watching Elton John at Caesars and getting my camera taking off me and having to queue up to get it back.

I saw Bruno at The Park Theatre; they didn’t take our phones and I took photos with my phone.

Saw Bruno last year at Park Theatre. Our cell phones were put into a sealed pouch and we had to stand in line at the end of the concert to have them opened by Park Theatre personnel. It was a bit of a PIA but the line moved fairly quickly. The rumor was he was going to be playing new music and didn't want it video'd ahead of time. Bruno came out on stage and said our phones were sealed because he wanted everyone to enjoy the concert. Concert was great at least!

I saw Gaga at the same venue.. EVERYONE busted out their phones. Especially when Bradley Cooper came out from the audience to sing "Shallow" with her.

    I love it.

And, if they do not want to deal with that... just start escorting people out that can not put their damn phone away and ENJOY THE SHOW.

The cell phone thing is definitely getting out of hand. At the latest hockey game I went to I actually said out loud "guys, the game is being televised. You can watch it anytime you want."

Yes saw him last week. Tix clearly say no phones, so we left ours at room. They put in like a nylon pouch lock it with like a clothing security tag mechanism and you keep the puch. At the end they have people with devices to unlock the pouch. It did create a longer than normal line going it.

It was very cool to see no phones out and people having to actual talk to each other in person. Awesome not to see a million phones out trying to video the show.
