Good day everyone. We will be staying at the Plaza starting on April 28th. Funds are a bit tight this trip so just trying to save a few bucks wherever possible. Has anyone tried bringing in their own booze to the Plaza pool? I realize they have a bar at the pool but just trying to avoid paying $5-10 for a drink. How discreet do you need to be? Could I just bring in a few beers in a bag and discreetly drink them? Or maybe bring a vodka club soda in a water bottle? Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I personally would NOT try to sneak any alcohol in. Have not been, however I would think they keep a pretty close eye on folks around the pool area. If you can not afford the drinks maybe you should just skip drinking at the pool. Gamble downstairs and get your free drinks for a bit of a tip.

Hey, that's no way to treat a first time poster. Drinking on the cheap is half the fun of Vegas.

Vodka in a water bottle works best. You'll have to buy the $5 soft drink but sacrifices must be made, amiright?.

Back in the days before pools in Vegas became profit centers, we always brought portable bars. My brother had an insulated sixpack bag with ice, plastic cups couple of plastic pint hip flasks, grab some mixxers. Kick back in Lady Luck's tiny pool and scare all the kiddies away.---We called it Afternoon Rehab.

Fake flasks are easy to use. Sunscreen obviously at a pool. Just be discreet about it and you'll have no problem.
