I understand Wednesdays are designated as Young at Heart Day at Boyd properties.

I plan to be at The Orleans earlier in the day and at the Fremont at night. Should I swipe my card at both places? Or does the swipe at Orleans in the morning count for all day?

Just wondering if each property is separate on this promotion?

    Thanks.

need to swipe each property. You may get a different multiplier also. Only points at each one will count towards their rewards such as buffets. Also, MSS and Cal YAH is only for locals. I usually go to Fremont or Samstown from MSS on Wednesday YAH

We think that each property is separate, so you should swipe at each casino. As eaglejohn says, you may get a different multiplier and (I think) separate buffets (e.g.) depending on your play at each property.

I guarantee each property is separate. When gambling at MSS and going to Cal my points drop to zero for play. Same when I go to Fremont, my points at Cal drop to zero. Slot points are still counted for all, just your play for that property for the day would go to zero

I just noticed that YAH is only valid for locals at the downtown properties. You have to have a zip code beginning in 890 or 891 to participate, This used to be true for Cal and MSS, but now Fremont also is included. Check the link on BConnected under calendar to find the official rules.

Yeh. just checked. Fremont has been added as only for locals for YAH. That sucks, always walked down there from MSS on Wednesdays for the point multiplier. Guess we will have to take shuttle to SamsTown on Wednesdays, unless they change it also.

Actually, have you looked on Sams' website? It looks like YAH is for locals only at ALL properties! I wonder what the reasoning is for this? I guess they can do whatever they want, but It seems to me that must create a lot of confusion for players.

Wow. That totally sucks. Looks like you can't even get movie tickets or earn buffets either. Came into effect March 1. Cut my rooms, cut my rewards to 2 months, cut my food books and now this.

Sorry for shouting. This is the worst news!

I would hope they get enough backlash to change it back. Was bad enough that you could not get at Cal and MSS. Wonder how they are handling it today since it came into effect today. I am sure many people expected to get extra points for YAH and also buffets earned playing

I sent them an email through contact us link on Bconnectedonline. I asked for the name/email address for a "higher up" to appeal to. If / when I get it, I will advise so we can all start a letter writing campaign!

    Cheers,
    Kelly

at any given time, at the cal/mss the 75-90% of the guests are from Hawaii. and this has worked for Boyd's downtown for decades. the new rules indicate they favor locals and hate visitors. which is it?

all right, I will start the ball rolling on this. would suggest you try and find out who is the GM for each particular boyd property you frequent the most and email accordingly.
I don't want to jeopardize an already booked comp stay in march but will certainly be interested in any replies (if any) posted here.

at sam's town the GM is:

    John Sou
