I love to go to the movies out there. It's a nice break in the day.

Two days ago, I emailed the GM of Cal & MSS expressing the anger of many on VMB over the change in YAH. I never got a reply, but I'm happy to see they appeared to have, in today's terms, stepped back from their changes.

Cal and MSS were always for only locals. Fremont was only one downtown that you could get YAH for non locals

I knew that and I never got a thing at MSS or Cal, but I was just passing along the anger and frustration many were expressing on the board. He is a GM and I'm sure they have Boyd upper level management meetings. It couldn't hurt.

Now can we get them to bring back that lanai restaurant at the Cal (Cal Club)? So far lots of people have been complaining after they got rid of that restaurant but instead they build a sports book that has no real food service. Too bad as I go elsewhere to eat nowadays.

Sorry about the complaining but I used to always eat there whenever I was in vegas.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they do include ALL of the original procedures ~ especially the mystery multiplier.

I am at Orleans right now and definitely not a local. I just swiped my card and for sure the point multiplier is back along with the food and movie. Great news thanks everybody for fighting the good fight. Now let's go out there and get a lot of winning hands!

As a newly old 'young at heart', I had to endure my older brothers rubbing my face in their discounted movies at Orleans (does it ever end?). Glad to hear the activists turned this one around.

Has anyone complained to Boyd about the comp changes too? Maybe we can get those rolled back as well...

Can anyone report from Downtown? Did Fremont lift the locals only restriction? The website still shows locals only and I do not see that the rules have been updated as they have done for the other properties.

Gotta give them some credit for rolling it back so fast AND apparently getting their systems to behave correctly.

I'm at MSS next Tuesday (if my daughter, SWA employee, come through with free ticket for her daddy). next weds night (if she doesnt). If I get in Tuesday then I'll be sure to report next Weds evening! Great job and kudos to those who took time to complain in writing!

I did and the reply is ( Thank you for being such a loyal B Connected member and for making Suncoast your casino destination. At the heart of the Boyd brand are its customers. It is for that reason that our company is always finding ways to allow our guests to get more out of their time with us! A quick look at your card shows amazing promotions and offers) We went from 3 days a month in a suite $100 a day dining and $250 a day slot play, to 5 days in a normal room over 2 months no dining credit and $400 slot play over 2 months, i have replied saying i don't find the offer that amazing.
