This has me very intrigued. I've also thought of doing this. Can't wait to see if you make it!
Onboard! Let’s go!!!
I'm pretty sure there is a website somewhere with info on that challenge, including record times, that I can't find right now.
But The Stig attempted it:
Hope you got comfy shoes and don't forget the importance of "spacing" with water now and again.
(also love your name, I'm a sucker for the two way hard six and only last trip learned I was overtipping on all my "piggyback" bets. explained a lot about the confused dealer looks and extreme gratitude)
Oh! Will have to look that up. Definitely will be keeping track of my time and plan on posting on Twitter each the results from each casino as I go as well to to help keep track.
Je suis arrivé!
About 50 min or so from landing to up in my room. Got upgraded to the Atelier suite. Extra 100 square feet or so, and funky tub in the bedroom.
The lobby was dark, a little smokey from the casino floor. Got greetings from all the staff as I walked in. Only one person in line to check in.
The room is great so far. Lots of nice decorative touches that make it feel modern and luxurious. Con for me is a small window, and I’ve gotten used to the room controls and electronics at Aria.
And down $20 at the airport and $20 on the skywheel at Cosmo, but I got some $2 bills and a fancy case!
Enjoying a Mild Belgian whit at Ellis Island.
Lost $20 at the bar, but managed to somehow get more than $10 from the LVA freeplay!
Turned it into $16.25 cash
Now for BBQ!
BBQ at Ellis Island hit the spot. Got the half rack. Ribs were great. Tasty sauce. Enjoyed the beans as well. Garlic bread and slaw were fine, but that’s not what I came here for!!
BJ at Ellis Island ended quickly, and badly. $100 gone in 15 minutes.
Always lose at Ellis Island, yet I keep coming back!
Now enjoying Bally’s Old Fashioned at the lobby bar. So good!
On the board!!
Back at Nomad. Lost $10 at Bally’s, but up 2 $14 Old Fashioneds!
There’s some sort of concert or performance at Park, pretty loud in my room, but doubt it will still be going later.
Gonna head down for some Eataly shortly!
I always enjoy your TR’s @boxofbirds - the strip trek sounds challenging and has my attention! You’re flirting with a royal, hope to see one soon along with some of your foodie pics.
Enjoying second dinner at Eataly. Lovely food, strip prices, hard to find a seat. They need to have a time more standing/bar tops and they’ll be golden. And a lot more European!
Got a pasta, then some fried arracini with mozzarella
My $50 freeplay from Mlife turned into $41.25 cash on 7/5 BP.
Had some terrible luck playing slots. Biggest win:
Then I headed to the high limit room at Park MGM and went on a nice dollar 8/5 BP run:
Got the full run of quads. Now up for the evening!
Good morning Vegas!!!
Didn’t sleep well, but I’m up and at ‘em! Still up $150 or so for the trip. Slots killed me and then Video Poker saved me to bring it back into positive territory. Shoulda just stuck to VP!
Might do a little gamble here and then I’m off to downtown for a coupon run!
Would have been amazing if your first Royal would have been at Ellis Island.
I had a shot at it too last trip.
Too bad you didn't get on one of these units. They actually had 8/5 Bonus on them. The game shown in the pic is 98.8% Bonus Deuces. The new game kings have bad paytables though.
Look forward to reading the strip crawl!
Morning Craps went badly. Down $225.
Now finally off to downtown, about 4 hours after I planned to be there! Vegas!
