Boxofbirds 12/8–12/11 Live Trip Report!

Before leaving we had our new tradition within the last few trips, lunch on the lake at Bellagio.

Can’t beat the view and some delicious food to send us off!














Well, we’re at the airport. Another trip comes to a close. Wish we had another day to stay, it’s beautiful warm, and sunny. I think 3 nights just feels a little too short. Leaving with 2/3rds of my bankroll, and had a lot of fun! Will post a wrap up later.

 

Lunch at Lago looks wonderful; I just added it to my list for my next trip. Hope you have a safe journey home. I enjoyed your live report and photos.

3 nights is never enough for me, 4 or 5 is just perfect. Love the food porn! It was so nice meeting you and Drew. I'll look forward to meeting up again in the future.

Yeah that was pretty great! I don't ever play DDB or TDB so having the kicker didn't bother me, but still slightly annoyed they happened while I was playing quarters, and on the machine where I usually play dollars! $1200 would have been nice

 

A few final thoughts:

- Definitely going back to flying Alaska from now on to Vegas. Delta was fine, but I don’t like their planes, and if you want food on board you’re out of luck, also it took forever to get out of Terminal 1, and took a long time to get to our gate on the way back. Such a maze! Terminal 3 where Alaska flies into is sooooo much easier.
- Along with planning more 4 night stays, I think arriving in the afternoon is better than the morning. Waiting for a room to be ready really threw off my Vegas routine!
- I can’t win at Ellis Island for the life of me. I really like it there, but maybe I should just go for the food and beer next time….
- I want to go back to Lotus of Siam and taste some more of their menu.
- Also really enjoyed meeting up with VMB peeps and would love to do it again on a future trip!
- Meatballs at Pizza Rock and Frozen Bailey's at O'Shea's will be new go-to's.
- I’m beginning to think Royal Flushes are a myth!
