Yeah, I wore pants just in case they wouldn’t let me in with shorts on. Might be different for dinner?

After Bally’s last night I headed back to Park MGM for the night. Wanted to try LaLa Noodle, but it was closed at 10. So I got some more pasta from Eataly, the tagliatelle, it was probably my favorite of the three I’ve tried.

No big wins, just played a few slots and Video Poker. Converted $75 freeplay into $70 cash and played on that for quite a while.

    HAHAHA, nope, but what's new?

Didn't actually do a ton of gambling this time. Though I did put in a few hours at Vue Bar. I have a strong feeling I'm going to have to pay for my rooms next trip!

Thanks everyone who followed and commented!

    A few additional thoughts:
    - Never could get anything going gambling wise. Especially on slots. Craps started out bad as well, but later wins weren’t big enough to make up for it. At least it wasn’t a lose-lose-lose like the last trip, but my couple of $200 quads were the biggest hits by far.
    - Didn’t get to play at Mlife casinos much as I spent so much time downtown. Definitely think my room offers are going away for a while!
    - Met some great people at the VMB meetup and at Vegas Nerd Summit! Hope to do the same again in the future!
    - Didn’t get to use up all my ACG and LVA coupons. I meant to distribute some at the meetup, but totally forgot!
    - Did I mention I love Vue bar? GREAT bartenders, plus ridiculously good VP. I played a bit at Longbar and Prohibition bar, and it just wasn’t the same.
    - Also shoutout to Cori and his strong old fashioned’s at Cosmo Sportsbook bar.
    - Hell’s Kitchen Wellington was the most tender steak I’ve ever had. So good! The chicken sandwich at Crack Shack was tasty, but Hattie B’s still wins! Plus that short rib fried rice at Le Thai…...I know I’m late to the party, but DAMN.
    - Mob Museum had so much content, very interesting stuff, but I just don’t see myself spending the 3-4 hours during my Vegas vacation to see and experience it all.
    - Still Royal Flushless…

For those interested in the numbers:
I recorded 27 gambling sessions. I had 7 winning sessions ranging from +$20 to +$200, 5 break-even session, and 15 losing sessions ranging from -$20 to -$300. I gambled at 12 different casinos on The Strip and downtown.

I got 9 four of a kinds and 9 Royal misses.

    Calculated Win/Loss: -$767

    Mlife Earnings
    Express Comps: $6
    Points: 913
    Tier Credits: 23,368
    Mlife coin-in: $5978.64
    Mlife VP/Slot Win/Loss: -$217.96 (96.35% return)
Mlife Table Games Win/Loss: +$400 (Actually +$100, I think they added my buy-in to my win  )

    Comps
    - Room Comps: $978 (Difference between amount paid vs best rate at time of booking)
    - Food Comps (Mlife, Diamond Dinner, and The D): $170
    - Freeplay Used: $130 / Won: $116
    - Matchplay Used: $10 / Won: $0 (this doesn't include coupons)
    - "Free" Drinks: 28 (28 x $5 = $140)
    - 3 bars of soap, 2 moisturizers, and 1 pen and paper from my room: $7

    Total comp value: $1411

One more note: Mlife has a different calculation for Express Comps as of October 1st. It's now a more vague mix of Theo/Game/Time. I played a majority of full-pay Bonus Poker, with a bit of slots, and got about $9 in Points vs $6 in Express Comps. Before the change I would have gotten $9 of each.

Liked your detailed closing stats summary - you are way too disciplined .
Try as I will to track, after a day or so in Vegas I get a bad case of the ‘forget this crapitis’

    Love this !

Thanks for sharing and hope to see a royal on your next trip

Yeah I still don't know how I keep getting offers... Just got a couple offers in my inbox for the next year, not as high as previous but still some free nights here and there. Maybe mixing-in some slots (and losing badly at them) or maybe the fact that I basically always lose at Mlife factors into their calculations? I've only had like 3 winning trips out of 21 and two of those winning trips I still lost at Mlife and just made up for it elsewhere.

    :hmmm:

Sounds like you and I are in a similar club. I'm waiting to see my room offers take a nose dive next year...not that I didn't lose, but that I lost so fast I got no play recorded.

Monte Carlo /Park MGM pit bosses are most likely doing that. They are the most stupid table game supervisors in the world.
