Quick trip report from Borgata. Great one night stay with my wife Room great as usual. Had a comped room. Checked in and asked if upgrade available. Set us up for a mini suite with a great room — still comped Homestead continues to be my favorite restaurant in AC. Splurged for a 4 pound lobster stuffed with crabmeat which was presented and then taken out of the shell ( I was lazy last night). Awesome!!! i added a Wedge salad - all I needed - well, along with a martini and a couple glasses of Sancere. My wife had a caprese and a small filet, Perfectly done, along with a Chardonnay and a Merlot. I must say Homestead has a very good and reasonable selection of wines by the glass. Saw Marina at the barbershop. Great haircut and love her straight razor shaves. FYI - spa and salon will be increasing staff beginning tomorrow and fully staffed by June 21. Pools will also reopen 7 days on June 21 Only about 10% of people wore masks. None required. Some plexiglass at craps table ( on both sides of stick and next to dealers, but not between players. Most slots open again. Craps: lots of $25 tables and some $15. No $10 on a Wednesday afternoon or evening ( that I saw). FWIW - I lost miserably Slots: I had a couple of nice wins on Buffalo and Dragon. But I have to mention a new concept in slots. - at least it is new to me. Called “Happy 8s”or “Jolly 8s”. Pretty cool.
