Just got my mlife card from borgata in the mail today. Glad to see they matched my existing mlife account and didn't give me a new one. I don't see the 41k credits in my account yet though.

The card they sent has a September 2018 expiration. I was already gold for next year, but at least I have an updated card now.

Thanks for the heads up! Got mine...wrong number. They gave me a new one. I e-mailed them about it earlier this week and they confirmed my actual M life number. I am glad that the status is good til next September, though! I was initially told it would be til this year's reset so I'll take it. I have Vegas trips this summer and next March, so this is welcomed.

I made mlife gold for next year, so not sure if the 2018 date is from borgata or cause I already made gold for next year. The letter doesn't say anything specific about the expiration date.

I think they probably think it's good business to keep any Black Label players at that level (Gold) through one full year of of the transition. Whether you were gonna be Gold/Black anyway or not.

Did they send Mlife cards to everyone who had a borgata card?

I didnt get one in the mail, but I did get my Gold Card in Vegas a month ago. Maybe people that ONLY had a Black Label card got the new Mlife card in the mail? Since I was already Gold Mlife, which equals Black Label (I was already that too) maybe thats why I didnt get the letter and card?

I was already gold mlife for current year and next, and got the letter and card. So, who knows how they decided who to send to and how they matched up borgata to mlife accounts since mine matched up but Harry Lyme indicated they sent him a new account.

Maybe it's tied into when you last went? Haven't been in an Mlife prop since last March.

On another note, with the new account I have to wait until I get to Vegas in July/August for them to fix the situation and merge the accounts.

Looks like the letter says to call. They are really making you walk up to a booth to correct their error?

Yeah, man, I'm slightly irritated. Just slightly. I actually called a few weeks ago, way before the e-mail and made sure they had the right number as I was checking my Borgata Vegas offers. Last night we went back and forth DM'ing on Twitter. Gonna wait until the ball officially drops on Wednesday and then place another call.

So if you haven't been to Mlife in awhile they will send you a card and otherwise they won't?

What if I'm black with borgata but a nobody with Mlife?

Don't think last mlife visit matters. I was at Bellagio in February and Mirage a little over a week ago. You should be gold with mlife from your black Label borgata.

Just trying to figure out why some didn't get cards sent. The cards go live in two days, so doubt they're sending them out in waves, though they very well could be.

And like Flig said, you will be Gold.

Ok, I just got a half-donkey answer on the phone, and just sent a joint tweet to Borgata and MLife...

The rep in Vegas just told me that the card we received in the mail can ONLY be used at Borgata and they have not been told of any plans to match tiers, though the accounts are connected(?). So I am Sapphire in Vegas and Gold in AC. I told her I'm confused, and she said I shouldn't be (haha). So, yeah, I'm calling Borgata now to verify.

Edit: All circuits are busy, so I'll try again later.

I spoke too soon. I'd like to hitch on to your thread if I may. My letter DID come in yesterday. Good thing I saw this thread. My account number WAS different as well!

So I called, just like you did. Took about 20 minutes to get to a human. I told her the problem and she put me on hold.

She came back and said I would have to come to their Mlife desk in AC to fix it. I told her I'll be in Vegas before I'm in AC and asked if tier credits earned on my REAL account would cross over to the shit account they made up. She didn't know. I asked if I could bring my fake card to Vegas and if they could fix it there, she didn't know.

I asked if they "fix" it at the Borgata, would I then be linking my real account to the new fake account, or would they be able to dump my Borgata history, and extended expatriation date, into the Mlife account I have had since day 1. She didn't know.

If they really are making 2 account numbers, one for all of Mlife and one for just the Borg, that would defeat the purpose of even having Mlife at that property. If my earned points and tier credits from my play at every other single casino wont transfer to the Borg, that's completely worthless to me.

That was the one good thing about Total Rewards, my play at any of their joints opened me up to offers elsewhere (for free rooms) and I could spend my reward credits at all of them.

If all of this info turns out to be official, then maybe the writing's been on the wall from the jump. They actually sent out emails with these bobo account numbers in September. I was only Red Label at the time and was told I'd be Sapphire with MLife. I shrugged it off thinking they'd get the real account later, especially once I was Black Label. But think about it... MGM had access to ALL info, so they could have easily punched in the right numbers or at LEAST done the groundwork at Borgata. Maybe tell us to stop by the desk with our existing Borgata and MLife cards or get us when we check-in. Any number of things. They've had plenty of time...unless there was a plan to have separate accounts.

P.S. And don't forget the recently initiated Borgata Free Casino, separate from myVegas. And while the future MGM casino in NJ may merge with the real online Borgata Casino, there's been zero mention of that.

Hi Winnie! Please be advised that while you can use a Borgata issued M life Rewards Card at other M life destinations (Las Vegas, National Harbor, etc.), you cannot use other M life destinations M life cards at Borgata, even though it is the same M life Rewards account. Unless you received a card from Borgata in the mail, please visit Borgata’s M life Rewards Desk after June 7 to receive a newly issued M life Rewards Card.

I am at Borgata now and it is a mess. They just closed the Mlife desk because the system keeps crashing. If you don't have your card you won't get credit for play today. I need to have them move my points to my original account because they sent me out a new card, which shouldn't of happened since all my information matches exactly in both systems.
