After much debating between roasting in August and cold/dead in Decembr we decided to book Aladdin for August 24-27 :D ! We haven't stayed there before, but got a great rate, and it's before Planet Hollywood takes over.

By the way, My parents are staying in December for a wedding, anyone know if construction at Aladdin/Planet Hollywood will be starting by then? This time I will do a trip report, since I snoozed on the last one!

I'm going to put a T-minus because it will feel real, but we have yet to finalize our flight plans.
 
No one knows for sure, but signs indicate it's pretty likely they'll be redoing something about that time. Whether that would interfere with your vacation is also still unknown. Glad I could help. ;)
 
We're committed now! Just booked airlines...flying USAirways out of Philly
8AM Tues 8/24, Back home on 8/27 at 3 PM :( .
We would love to take the red eye, but we have a 3 year old staying with my parents in NY who we have to get to a Wiggles concert back in Philly Saturday afternoon. Let the countdown really begin!
